My bridesmaids and I visited the Vera Wang Bridesmaids salon. To begin with, the appointment was difficult to make even though I called months in advance. I understand that the designer's product is high in demand but did not appreciate the curtness of the receptionist who took my appointment.

My girls and I arrived on time and still had to wait about 20 minutes. Once we were led into the showroom we were shocked at how unorganized and messy everything was. The boutique in no way reflected the image of Vera Wang's name. Our sales associate told us we could only select four gowns at a time to try on and for each one we didn't like we could pick another. I found this to be both unprofessional and poor time management - it reminded me of being at a sample sale.

The associate would not let us take photos of the girls in the dresses and was quite pushy about only letting us have a certain amount of time with each dress. I assume this is because the boutique OVERbooks appointments. There are only two mirrors for everyone to share in the dressing room, extremely insufficient for there were at least 15 - 20 girls in the showroom at once.

The dresses were extremely poor in quality and ill-fit. There were girls of all different shapes and sizes in the dressing room and very few looked good in these dresses.

I was extremely disappointed in the Vera Wang bridesmaids experience and have strongly advised my engaged friends not to visit the boutique. It was a waste of time!

T. Anthony's products are exquisite. The quality is second to none and the customer service is excellent. I worked with the T. Anthony on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. I advised the associate of the specific leather goods that I wanted to use as wedding favors and they gladly offered special boxing and wrapping in order to make the gift truly special. I also wanted to enclose a personal card inside each box and they were more than happy to include this card in all 150 of the boxes.

I knew that by giving my guests a T. Anthony product I would be giving them something that will not only last a lifetime but will look even better as it ages.

After visiting more than five boutiques my bridesmaids chose their dresses from the Amsale boutique in Manhattan. They are wearing champagne-colored tissue taffeta cocktail dresses with a gently-folded neckline and delicate halter straps that tie at the neck. The girls were thrilled that this dress could look good on their varying figures. The sales associates at Amsale were kind, patient, and let us take plenty of photos. There wasn't a sense that we were being rushed and our opinions and critiques were taken seriously. After my bridesmaids decided on the dresses the sales associates were quick to email all necessary paperwork and follow up with each of the five girls.

I highly recommend the Amsale boutique in Manhattan. The associates are trained to treat you in the manner you deserve to be treated and their product is truly elegant, classic and beautiful.
