I found Yuko through this website. She is absolutely delightful and sweet and had beautiful designs, from the exotic to the traditional but all very elegant. I got a necklace and earring set for my wedding and it was gorgeous! At first, the price seemed a little high, but worth it and totally reasonable compared to bridal shops. And it's cool to have something personally made!

I took forever trying to decide which dress to get. I realy liked the salesperson I had at Montclair, Shireen. She spent a lot of time with us and was very personable. The owner on the other had seemed a liitle cold. I eventually narrowed it down to 2 dresses I saw at MaryLinn's in Pasadena but that store was far for me to drive back and forth to. Montclair had the same dress but it was more expensive, but they're much closer and I liked their more personable service I received. I went back and told them I found the same dress somewhere else for cheaper, and they matched the price, even went a little under and gave me 20% off accessories. I went ahead and ordered with them. True there was no communication afterwards (but I didn't need to communicate anything) but I just got a call the other day saying my dress had arrived, it's been almost exactly 6 months, just as they had said.

My fiance had a bad experience with After Hours so we decided to start with Men's Wearhouse. They were OK but only had one jacket to try on, you had to order them and just try them on when you pick them up before the wedding! We looked around and found a great little privately owned store in Westwood, Elite Tuxedo. It's a small store but they have a lot of styles and the staff spends a lot of time helping you find the right look (another store we went to wanted a deposit before they would let us try on styles!). I would suggest waiting until Prom time is over if you can. Ask for Yossi, he's the owner and very knowledgeable. Our wedding isn't until October 6, but we feel very confident with our choice for tuxedos! :D

I didn't want to spend too much money on invitations that people would eventually throw away but I did want them to look nice and be original. I wanted something simple yet elegant. MyGatsby offered me the designs and layout pretty much exacly as I wanted and I could be as original as I wanted too. I chose to assemble them myself (will have my friends help) and felt the price was very reasonable compared to other online invitation companies. The most amazing part, I ordered them on a Wednesday, they arrive Fed Ex on Saturday!!! They turned out exactly like what the proofs showed. I would highly recommend!
