When my daughter told me she had booked someone to do her hair and makeup for her wedding, I honestly thought she was going over the top. BUT I WAS WRONG. Maria was absolutely, totally, completely fantastic. I have never seen my daughter look so beautiful--and it was not a "made up" look; it was lovely, natural, and stunning. But Maria is so much more--she was everywhere, seamlessly helping with all the matters the other reviewers have written about. For example, for one of the photos, the pendant I was wearing was crooked. She quietly and quickly straightened out, the kind of detail that I was too distracted to notice, but is so welcome. I, who never wear makeup, now wish I had had Maria make me up! Another thing that was great about her was that she worked with the photographer as if they were a team, not people who had never met each other. She was worth every penny!! This was money very well spent.

As the mother of the bride, I was interested to see the way Ed and Monica worked together for HOURS. They were extremely professional, hard working, invisible (not intrusive in any way), energetic and FUN young people.

The teaser pics on their blog were posted in FOUR days--an unbelievably short period of time, even for an eager bride and her mom. They are a revelation--clever, tender, fun, artistic, moody and inventive by turn.
