Netbride rocks! I love these people. They delivered my bridesmaid dresses 3 weeks before the deadline and they were all so beautiful. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were very fast with getting me quotes on different dresses. Like everyone else mentioned, their prices save you at least 25% off retail.

Kathy came to my rescue when, just two weeks before my wedding, I realized that the used dress I purchased had bleach damage along the bottom (the rest of the dress was ivory). I sent the dress to her overnight on Tuesday and she worked diligently to find the correct dye color for my dress. I needed the dress back by Friday or my seamstress would not be able to alter it, so she was under an extreme time constraint. By that Friday morning at 10am, I had my dress back and the bleach stains were almost completely gone. She was unable to dye the lace trim on the bottom of the dress, but had explained that to me over the phone before shipping it back (& I said it was ok). The rest of the dress was perfect, I couldn't even see where the stains had been! I am so grateful to Kathy for fixing my dress and under such a tight deadline. Now that my wedding is over, I plan to use her garment preservation services as well.

This place has some nice jewelry, but most of it is custom, so you've got to order it several weeks in advance. I did not have that much time, so I got my jewelry elsewhere. They also do custom veils and sell purses and shoes. I bought my wedding purse here. It was pretty, but overpriced. The ladies who work here were a little pushy, but much less so than other bridal shops I visited. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out, especially for the custom jewelry.

I bought my reception dress from BCBG and it was beautiful. Actually, there were several dresses there I would've been happy to wear at my reception. They were still classy, but more fun and great for dancing. I looked great and felt great in the dress and hope to wear it again someday.

I heart Macys. There were countless little things that I bought at Macys for my wedding. My favorite was the pearl necklace and earring sets for my flower girls. They were set beautifully in little pink boxes and cost only $8 each! I also bought a beautiful broach and some earrings for my bachelorette party. Their bridal salon in Chicago is also very nice. I tried on my very favorite dress there, but I just couldn't afford it :( The ladies there were very nice, though, and not too pushy. The registry services were a little much for me, however, and we decided not to register at Macys. The lady was a little pushy and DH and I were not interested in all the fine china, so her sales pitch was a waste of our time. All in all, though, Macys is a wonderful place and I look forward to spending all our wedding gift cards there.

Behrooz was one of our favorite vendors for our wedding this July. He was so kind and caring and willing to put up with all our flaky groomsmen and lots of changes to our order along the way. He went way out of his way to track down the measurements for our groomsmen and my dad who were all taking their sweet time to get back to him. He was always very sweet and offered to pay for one of our groomsman's tux in case he didn't show up. On top of this, he gave DH some very nice cuff links and threw in the shoes for all the guys for free. All the tuxes fit wonderfully, even though he never got measurements from some of the guys and had to guess their sizes based on height, weight, etc. We absolutely loved working with Behrooz and recommend him highly for your wedding or special event!

On Time Limo was recommended by the folks at Yelp and I thought I would pass along the good news here. These guys are very cool and true to their name. They were early for our pickup and handled a very sticky situation for us. I asked DH to call to confirm the limo again the day of the wedding, but he accidentally called another company. When two limos arrived at the hotel, DH had no idea what to do, but our driver from On Time handled everything and we were never charged for the extra limo from the other company. Riding in the limo was very fun, the girls and I all had champaign and blasted the radio. Our driver took care of my getaway suitcase and all our bags and even delivered our hair flowers to us at the hotel so our stylist could place them before we left. They were early again when it was time for our getaway, so they had plenty of time to pack up our suitcases and cake before our grand exit. These guys did a great job for us and they were one of the least expensive limo companies we called. I highly recommend On Time Limo for your wedding!

I purchased the dresses, crocheted sweaters, and sparkly ballerina slippers here for my 3 flower girls as well as a 3-piece suit for my ring bearer. The quality of all garments was amazing and the prices here absolutely cannot be beat. The flower girls dresses were $55, the sweaters were $31, the shoes were $35, the suit was $47. Everything looked so beautiful (see photo). My only problem with them is that they're a little difficult to deal with over the phone and some of their garments are not true to size (which means extra shipping charges and more time lost due to exchanges). My recommendation is to place your order over the phone and ask the representative about sizing before you order. Also, place your order several weeks in advance, they can take up to 3 weeks from the time you order to deliver your stuff and if you need any exchanges, you'll need another 3 weeks.

Redot Designs came to my rescue when my wedding was less than a week away and I still had not purchased any of my bridal jewelry. They rushed my order and got the jewelry to me with a day to spare. The jewelry they made for me was so much more beautiful than the pieces I saw at bridal shops for hundreds of dollars each. My pearl and swarovski crystal necklace & earring set was less than $100 combined with the rush fee and overnight shipping included. Thank You Redot!!!

Sherrie did my makeup and hair on my wedding day in addition to my five bridesmaids, two flower girls and my mom. We all looked fantastic and she was so professional, arriving on time and calling up to the bridesmaids' room without ever bothering me. She finished everyone on time even after two girls were late arriving and we had to squeeze in one more bridesmaid updo at the last minute. Her prices are rather steep, but she is so talented and professional, she is definitely worth it.
