I found Bonnie on etsy.com and she let me know that she had a storefront near where I lived. When I went to visit her, she let me try on various hair pieces, but I still bought the one I had originally wanted (the Garden of Eden)....however, Bonnie had let me know that she could embellish it or make it work with the hair design (shorten/lengthen the vine, etc...) She was great to work with and there was no pressure. =)

I had Blake do my hair for the day of and WAS HE FAST! He got my done and out of there in about 1 hour...it was crazy!! Also, I didn't have any trials with him, so I basically let him do his own thing, I just had a few guidelines he needed to follow (ie - sideswept bangs, incorporate my hairvine, all hair up and out of my face, etc...) I was extremely please with how it all turned out...my only issue is that my bangs didn't stay put as long as I wanted (but that's always an issue with my hair). I paid only $85 (the low end of their bridal hair pricing) for my hair which is almost half way down my back...I gave him a $10 tip tho! Overall, I highly recommend them!

We had a great experience with Sarah from Flour Girl Wedding Cakes. She was responsive to our requests and answered all our questions....we only had her do about 70 cupcakes for the guests (it was the centerpieces) and a small 6" cutting cake for us. She threw in a lot of fondant work (leaves on the cupcakes and the banana slug on our cake) without charging us more.
The only issue I had with her was that my emails at first weren't being received by her. After a phone call, everything was cleared up and it was smooth sailing from then on.
The cakes were tasty and while I didn't eat the cupcakes, they looked yummy too =) I highly recommend her (however, I do agree with theryb1, she is a little pricey)
I had a DW in Lake Tahoe and I really didn't want to order flowers through a florist in Tahoe. My needs were very minimal (just my bouquet and bouts for DH and his GMs). I found Bridesign online and found out that they can ship the flowers directly to the site.
The customer rep (Gina McKenna) walked me through their whole process everything. The company ships your flowers to you 48 hrs in advance and they give very explicit directions on how to care and rehydrate or refreshen (if needed) your flowers. When my order was received, a rep from the company called to make sure that everything was there and that they were in good condition. Unfortunately, I wasn't there, so I couldn't answer him, but it was nice that they actually called to make sure the flowers were to my liking....but, because I wasn't there to receive the flowers, they were in the box for an additional 3 hours, which I think caused them to brown a bit....
The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because in their FAQ, they state that they will pack "extra flowers in case any get damaged on the delivery over" but I only got what I had ordered. It may have been the types of flowers I requested, but not sure.

I fell in love with this venue when I started searching around for a venue in Lake Tahoe. DH & I met in Tahoe and thought it would appropriate to have our wedding here. We settled on this site without even seeing it! The views were spectacular
The staff there was extremely helpful (especially the coordinator Debbie). They were very responsive to all our requests and emails. They also let us change the head count a day before the event, which was really nice of them...The staff on the day of was helpful with us, they cleared quickly and moved things along quickly. We were running ahead of schedule and they were very helpful by allowing us to get our food more quickly.
I only have a few little compliants
1.) The food was removed too quickly from the tables
2.) During the wedding months (May, June), they were not as responsive to my emails (like they didn't email me back within 2 days, but got back to me in 3)
Overall, this was a great venue with great people to work with =)

I got a "free" address stamp. I just had to pay for shipping and handling and received it like 2 weeks after I ordered it. I am happy with the product I got though, so overall it was a good buy =)
I, like Mrs. KC, also used Paper-Papers for my RSVP envelopes. They come in various sizes and allow you to search by size too (great!) I got the Wausau Royal MarbleĀ® A2 Envelopes and I spent $40 for 250 envelopes (including tax and shipping). The envelopes were of good quality and I love how in the package they gave you samples of other popular colors and weights of paper. I received the package in about 2 weeks (but I had UPS ground), but it came in a nice box and everything was clean and nothing's out of place. All in all, I highly recommend this online vendor =)
I recently visited the Glamour Closet and arrived there about an hour after they opened. As many of the girls have said, they do have a lot designer dresses at a major discount. The sizes run from 8-12 (not street size) so for anyone not fitting into those, major alterations will be needed. I really like the girl who helped me, this bitty little thing named Marie with a French accent (too cute). While, I did find a dress that fit me, it was out of my budget ($1200 for a dress retailed at $7000). The girls were extremely helpful with making suggestions on how to alter the dress. Because I'm larger than the sample sizes, letting a dress out is not always going to work, however, they gave me tons of advice and an honest opinion if they thought the alterations would even work. All in all, it was a nice store with lots of dresses, but you definitely need a 2nd or 3rd set of eyes checking the dress prior to purchase because they are sample dresses and some had a lot of wear and tear (and stains).

FI and I went up to Reno for the weekend and decided to have a spa day of pampering. This hotel is fabulous. I've never really noticed it before (it's off the main road), but the hotel itself is beautiful and the spa was impeccable. I got a body wrap and an express facial and FI got a hydrotherapy tub bath (like a personal jacuzzi) and a 90 min massage...we were both exquisitely satisfied after this experience. I highly recommend the spa at this hotel.
The hotel itself is fairly new and the casino is a bit on the small side (which was great for me because I'm not much of a gambler). We didn't see the rooms, so I can't say much about them or the banquet halls though.

I had gone to the Santa Clara Boutique prior to going to the SF one and I would say that I had a better experience at the Santa Clara one. Maybe it was because of the time of year I was going (there was a huge sale going on with all the wedding dresses being discounted in order to have room for the new season dresses to come in) but they had one dress in my size and the rest were either way too big or way too small. The girl that helped us kept on letting me know that they wouldn't be cutting any more fabric for the dress I thought I wanted and that there were only this many left in my size, ect...The sad thing was that we were the only people there (it was a Monday morning) and she didn't really help us at all. I had to keep on going back to her to ask for sizes for multiple dresses. In the end, I didn't buy the dress I thought I wanted (the color looked weird in the SF store) and left saddened
