Because we were having our wedding ceremony and reception at Rocky Gap Resort, it was very convenient for me and my bridesmaids and the moms to have our hair and makeup done at the resort. The Garden Spa at Rocky Gap has very experienced and friendly hair stylists and makeup artists, and they really made us all look beautiful. Each of us had very personalized service and they were able to really bring out each person's best features. I brought in a photo of what I wanted for my hair, and the stylist did exactly what I wanted. I felt gorgeous but still felt like myself, so I was very happy with their service. With any hair and makeup stylist, I recommend doing a trial (I did), because it's always good to see what you will look like before the big day. I would definitely recommend the Garden Spa for anyone getting married at Rocky Gap.

We ordered custom shot glasses for our wedding favors. DiscountMugs.com was a very user-friendly website with good prices for their products. We uploaded our logo and entered all our information, they provided a detailed quote and our shot glasses arrived on time, as promised. One shot glass was broken, but it wasn't a big deal. They were generally packed very well and were a big hit with our guests.

Harvey's Florist was great to work with. Their prices were fair and the service was excellent. The flowers turned out better than I had pictured!

Jonny Rock and Sounds Fun Entertainment were fantastic. They were professional and extremely organized, and kept the party going! I was very impressed by their Wedding Reception Planner, which they stuck to and played all the right songs. They were very flexible and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend Sounds Fun Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ in the western Maryland area.

The saleslady that I met with to try on wedding dresses was very friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, she picked out a dress that I didn't really love on the rack, but ended up being THE ONE when I tried it on! She was just great to work with and I had tons of fun picking out my wedding dress.

The alterations department was a little disappointing. They were not as attentive or helpful as I would have liked.

Overall, I would definitely recommend others to use Mary Me Bridal. Expect great service from the sales department, and average service from the alterations department.

My husband and I wanted a non-denominational ceremony, and when we first spoke with Rev. Carroll, we were impressed with his demeanor and excited about him performing our ceremony. Kenneth Warne, his subdeacon, was always extremely responsive and helpful with all of the administrative details and any questions we had. We spent a lot of time putting together our ceremony script and readings, and were very confident about the big day.

On our wedding day, the ceremony was set to begin at 4:00pm. Everyone was ready. Except the officiant wasn't there. At 3:30pm, I started calling him. His cell phone was off. I called Ken's cell phone - that was off too. At 3:55pm, my mother went to ask her brother in law, who happens to be a reverand, if he would be able to fill in if the officiant didn't show. At 4:05pm, Rev. Carroll and Ken finally showed up, and without an apology, asked where they could change clothes and get ready.

When the ceremony finally started, Rev. Carroll did not follow our script and added readings that we did not approve, and left out our vows! We had written our own vows which he had promised us he would whisper to us so we could repeat them aloud to each other, and instead he had us read the generic "with this ring I thee wed" vows, which we did not want to do.

All in all, we were happy with everything right up until the wedding day, which was a disaster. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone.

Michael Markwitz is not only a talented baker and artist, he has wonderful customer service skills and is a pleasure to work with. From the start, he impressed us with a beautiful (and delicious!) presentation of cakes at his home and we booked him on the spot. He was helpful and responsive and created the perfect cake for our wedding. I will absolutely use him again in the future and have been recommending him to all my friends and family.

This is a great resource for anyone looking to make gorgeous pocket folder invitations without the price tag of companies like mygatsby.com. I ordered sample color swatches and their invitation "mock up kit" and really got a perfect idea of what the invites were going to look like. Not only did they send me the color swatches I requested, but they also sent similar colors for comparison without me asking - I was thrilled! It is time consuming to print and assemble the invites, but well worth the effort if you're a DIY-er. I'm still getting compliments on how beautiful the invites turned out. This is really a quality product, and the customer service is excellent.

Mark and Christine Hamilton were wonderful to work with and we were extremely happy with their services. They are both very professional. Throughout the planning process, Mark was responsive and helpful. On the big day, Mark and Christina were prompt, professional, and very comfortable to work with. They managed all of the formal photos quickly and efficiently, and during the reception they didn't miss a thing. Our guests are still commenting that "your photographers seemed to be everywhere at once!" And to top it off, our photos not only came out beautifully, but were posted earlier than we expected.
