Si was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. She is a super nice lady who works from her home. I believe she is less pricey than most seamstresses and does very detailed, thorough, and amazing work. Her quote was about half as much as another seamstress I met with.

I had a lovely Anne Barge dress that needed to have a bustle and boning put in the front to have it lay more flat. She did an awesome job! She also made the bustle color coded which made it very easy to deal with on a very hectic day. We also had Si do the alterations on my Chinese cheong sam and the groom and groomsmen's suits. She did the additional dress and suits without a hitch as well.

She does get booked months in advance. So once you have your dress, give her a call. Thank you Si!

Photoworks was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. They allowed us to customize not only the background print (colors and logos) but also how many sets of pictures printed on one sheet - we had 4 poses printed on one sheet, three times. That way they guests can leave one strip for us, share one strip with another party, and keep one for themselves. They also accommodated us with a specific back drop curtain color for the booth - we requested brown (I think their standard is red). They provided props and the pictures printed out within seconds. They also encouraged people to use props and come back to take pictures more than once.

Lastly - the scrapbooking ... they had two people manning the booth at all times. They gave scrapbooking tips and when they had down time, they scrapbooked pages for us! The next morning, we went to the venue to pick up our things, and to our surprise, the beautiful and completed leather scrapbook was already there with all the digitals of the pictures attached on a USB key ring. It was super fun to have goofy pictures of all our guests the day after the wedding. Now that's instant gratification! Thank you Photoworks!

Enhanced Lighting was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. John, Julio, and the rest of their team did an amazing job with our ceremony room and reception room. Lighting makes a huge difference!

The ceremony room had a very intimate, candle lit feel that was perfect and exactly what we were going for. We also had a simple tree-like gobo pattern in both rooms that worked out well with our fall theme. And both rooms had doors that were draped by Enhanced Lighting. The chocolate brown drapes had beautiful tassels tied around them, and the drapes definitely added another layer of texture to the room, making it very elegant.

The reception room had pin spots on every table that were not blinding to guests like I have seen other lighting companies do. The pin spots were subtle and made photographs even more beautiful. We also had lanterns hung over the dance floor. We thought we were going to get standard round paper lanterns - to our surprise, when we saw the reception room, the lanterns were intricate and ornate lanterns that emitted a very nice glow. It was more than we hoped for and absolutely stunning! Guests were definitely wow'ed by the lanterns! Thank you Enhanced Lighting for everything!

Nicole was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. She may be one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Her work is absolutely amazing! She works very closely with Crystal, so I had very little interaction with her via email. I had seen her work once before at their annual Una Bella Sera event at Casa Real. Her website definitely does not do her justice. We met with her, shared our vision, and gave her our budget. She and Crystal came up with awesome ideas that were executed seamlessly.

Our flowers on the big day were stunning! Orange was our color so she used a lot of calla lilies, orchids, daisies, tulips, and ranunculus. The bouquets and boutonnieres lasted all day, and even for a few days after. Our centerpieces which were three different arrangements on each table were gorgeous. And lastly, the large arrangements for the ceremony and foyer were not only what I had envisioned, but better!

Nicole is also not one of those florists that drop off the stuff and leave. She stayed to help Crystal, and also put the flowers in bags and tied them in ribbon for our guests when the night ended. So she was there the entire time! Our day would not have been as beautiful without Nicole's amazing work. Thank you Nicole!

p.s. This is how sweet Nicole is - I had mentioned to her that I was going to do a couture bridal shoot with Jennifer Skog and Maria Chang. And she offered to make me a beautiful bouquet for the photo shoot and even drop it off on the day of! The bouquet was just as stunning as my wedding day bouquet! Thank you Nicole for the beautiful gift!

Jennifer was one of the photographers recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. We decided to go with someone else, but as fate will have it, she works exclusively with our wedding make-up artist Maria Chang of Professional Make-Up Artistry for couture boudoir shoots. Being in love with Maria, I just booked a couture shoot without even meeting Jen.

I told Jen that I am very attached to my wedding dress, and asked if I could sneak it in as one of my outfits ... even though it's not really a boudoir outfit. She agreed, so in addition to the boudoir, I basically had a couture bridal shoot as well!

On the day of the photo shoot, I met Jen and immediately felt very comfortable with her. She is super funny and easy going. She taught me how to pose, and made me laugh the entire time. Jen and Maria are really a fantastic team to work with!

When I got my teaser shots, my husband and I were floored! It took a few moments to absorb how amazing the pictures turned out. The bridal pictures were more high fashion than traditional pictures, which is what I wanted since I already have wedding pictures. And the boudoir pictures were way more than I hoped for - Jen and Maria can make you look good with very little clothes!

I think every woman should have beautiful, sexy, and tasteful pictures of herself, and I highly recommend Jen to do them! Thank you Jen!

We are very grateful that we got Crystal as our wedding coordinator! We still say she was worth every penny for all the time, stress, and work she saved us. I'm a pretty organized person, so our main concern was the day-of coordination (so that we could fully enjoy the day) and the design aspect of it all. We believe Crystal's strength is in design, which is the key reason we chose her. She is also very detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. We had booked her two years before our wedding date, and got the full package. In those two years, she procured most of our vendors, based on our criteria, and refined our vision. Every single vendor she recommended went above and beyond our expectations, as did she and her team. She was always on top of our month-to-month schedule, gently reminding us of what we had left to do. Crystal was never pushy or overbearing - always pleasant, and nudged us in the right direction if we were to go astray. From big things to minor questions, I emailed Crystal constantly. She was always prompt and very thorough when she replies. And she has a good answer to everything wedding related!

Our actual wedding day was as perfect as can be. The timeline Crystal did was flawless, leaving us extra time to absorb and enjoy the day. She coordinated not only the wedding festivities, but also the design element of the day with the vendors - flowers, lighting, floor plans, cake design, and any other detail you can think of. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the day was and how much fun everybody.

Alumiere was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events (http://www.amazaespecialevents.com/). We were given samples of their work and reviewed what they had posted online, and loved their cinematic style! When we met with Vincent, he was very informative and answered all of our questions. He was very open as to what equipment will be used and his editing process. After meeting with a few other videographers, we chose Alumiere because not only did we love their work, but we also felt comfortable around Vincent.

When the big day arrived, we hardly noticed that Vincent and his crew were there (and that's a very good thing)!!! They didn't ask us to pose ... they were just hidden in the backdrop catching candid moments. Also, they did not get in the photographer's way. Vincent told us from the beginning that he understands photography always has the priority. He was also kind enough to gently inform us when he was leaving for the evening to make sure we didn't have any further requests.

So when our video was given to us, we were floored! Throughout the video my husband and I would turn to each other and say "I didn't even know they were there!" We cried and laughed all over again as we relived it through Vincent's perspective. The video wasn't cheesy or awkward like you sometimes see. It was simply amazing! We absolutely loved it!
