Apples of Gold was a true find for us. My fiance wanted something a bit unusual. He was frustrated that all the jewelry stores we looked at (dozens) seemed to carry the same 20 or so men's wedding bands. So we turned to the internet. Apples of Gold had a fantastic selection. We were able to get something we really like for a very reasonable price. Shipping via FedEx was included in the price; the ring arrived in just a few days. We are extremely pleased with the look, quality, and price of the ring. I would highly recommend Apples of Gold.

I love flowers and wanted to have flower seed packets on the tables for wedding favors, but I'm having a small wedding and wanted to keep the costs down so I didn't want to order custom printed packets from one of the many sites available. Instead I bought some really nice specialty rice paper from a local craft store. I cut out my own packets and glued them together. I put a photo and a sprig of pressed baby's breath on each. They turned out amazing. I bought the seeds in bulk online from Flower Art and Soul (www.flowersoul.com). They had lots of different choices and the prices where really amazing. I chose Blue and Scarlet Flax seeds because they are inexpensive and easy to grow (and blue and red were my wedding colors). For $15 (including shipping) I had enough seeds to make 90 packets with a teaspoon in each- but since I only needed 30 packets I put 3 teaspoons in each.

Flower Art and Soul was amazing. They had a wide selection (both in flower types and quantities); the prices were fantastic; the shipping took almost no time at all (about 5 days-including a 3 day weekend- so 2 working days). I highly recommend this vendor for a DIY bride (or for any other occasion you might need flower seeds)

I was not at all pleased with the service I received when I was looking for my bridal gown, but I went back another day looking for bridesmaids dresses and it was a completely different experience. I like that most of their dresses come in any of their many colors. I plan on my bridesmaids wearing the same color but not necessarily the same dress as I want the dress to fit each girls body type. It's nice being able to pick just about any dress in the store and having it come in the right color. I would give 4 stars except I find it really annoying that they don't carry all sizes. If they had an 8, they wouldn't carry a 6 or a 10 (in any color). It makes it hard to see how a dress really looks.

There were three staff members at the shop and only one customer (so two staff members who were just standing talking with each other) and yet no one made any effort to help me, my maid of honor, or my mother as soon as they realized I was shopping for bridesmaids and mother of the bride instead of a bridal gown. They were quite rude to me; I had to ask questions multiple times before anyone would answer me (simple things, like what colors does this dress come in). They acted like I was unconvincing them by shopping at their store. Also, they didn't have color swabs that I could take home with me. They told me (in a rather snooty manner) to look online... but you can never really get an accurate idea of color from the computer. However, with all that said, the dresses where quite lovely, but they were a bit pricey. If the service had not been so bad I would probably buy my dresses from them.

The customer service was quite good. The staff was very helpful about answering my questions and helping me find dresses in the colors and styles I was considering. Unfortunately, many of the styles did not come in the correct colors for my wedding. They had a great selection, but the only problem was that they only had one of each dress, so if you are a size 4 it is impossible to get an accurate picture of how the dress would look on you if all they had was a 14 (or vice versa). And they didn't have color swabs I could take home with me.

When I bought my gown from David's Bridal I got a coupon to make a free 12x12 photo book on Shutterfly.com. I used it to chronicle my finance and my relationship. It was very easy to make and came out beautifully. I will likely buy another after I get married to show off photos from my wedding.

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal. I visited both locations in San Antonio. In both cases, the staff was extremely helpful without being pushy. I'm a small person (size 0-4 depending on brand). I really liked DB because they had a good selection of size 2 and size 4 dresses (about 40 size 2, over 100 size 4). They also carry bras, veils, petticoats, shoes, and headpieces; so even if you aren't going to buy everything at once, you can try your dress on with everything to get the full effect.

I bought my Save the Date cards from Vista Print. It is an online store that mostly does business marketing. I was able to get 25 magnets and 100 postcards for under $20 (including shipping). I designed my own cards in photoshop (free 30 day trial from adobe.com) then uploaded the design to Vista Print. They came out amazing, cost far less than anywhere else I saw, and arrived in just over a week.

I am a small person and was very disappointed in the selection at the San Antonio, 410 location. There were no size 2 dresses, maybe 7 size 4, a handful of size 6. There were about 5 dresses I wanted to look at and the store had none of them in anything smaller than a 10. The staff was very rude to me. When I asked if they would call the other San Antonio location they just said they carry the same sizes we do and refused to call.
