Family-style dinner gave us many options to create our own menu and the food was excellent. We also had tons of leftovers which they packed up for us. They continuously made sure we were fine and never forgot about us in our private room.

Packages are very flexible and the photographers are very personable, allowing for very natural and fun pictures. Photojournalistic style.

Rev. Lenhard is a former Catholic priest who made sure to establish a close relationship with us as he was officiating the most important day of our lives. Very organized, very nice man.

Although Lansdowne is pricey, they give you exactly what you paid for, complete with a day-of event planner who is with you every step of the way. The food is excellent, the views and picture opportunities are amazing. It was supposed to rain at the time of our ceremony but they allowed me to wait until the last minute to decide if we would move the ceremony inside. Most places make you make the decision first thing in the morning. I'm glad we got to wait because it ended up clearing just in time for our ceremony!

The tailor was very thorough and made sure that I was pleased with the end result. She is very well-versed with what she does, and although she is pricier than other shops, you do not want to spend thousands on a dress and skimp on the alterations.

Excellent cake, fresh ingredients, many flavors to choose from. They did not charge us extra for fondant or cream fillings like many other shops.

This website has a wide selection of dresses that can be found in most bridal shops. I found the same dress on the website as I did in the store for $200 less. My bridesmaids loved me for it.

May, the owner, gives this boutique-style shop a very professional feel. She's handled the Wolf Trap Ball and many large-scale events, but makes sure that she is involved with every customer she works with - she never delegates any responsibilities to anyone else. This is something that is hard to find with bigger flower shops.

The service at this shop was excellent. Alterations and a full service bridal boutique, where I purchased my dress, had my alterations done, got the guy's tuxes and purchased my veil. Very helpful trunk show allowed me to see how the veil would look with my hair done the way I was planning to get it done. Tux shop was a little bit slow/disorganized but they were very thorough in checking to make sure our orders were correct before we left the shop.
