We ordered our Holiday Red tablecloths and water goblets from Taylor Rental. The lady that helped me was rather pushy and tried to get me to order more than that, so you have to be kind of firm about what you want or you could end up walking out and paying a lot more than you thought you would. Also, you have to lay down a large deposit on your order and you can't change your order (i.e., remove any items from your order) without losing that deposit. They also try and get you to buy all of this insurance policies and they have extreme fees if you don't turn your things in on time (although we did). They do have a very good selection though, and for a decent price. I would use them again for party rentals.
Everything was expected and my husband received a free rental for our wedding because his groomsmen rented from there. The formalwear was clean and neat and nothing was missing from the order. They allowed us to pick it up two evenings for the wedding. I would definitely use AfterHours again for our tuxedo rentals.

You can't beat the price of David's Bridal, but their service is lacking. They just have so many customers, that they don't really have to try and keep up their business or reputation. Beyond helping you pick out the perfect dress, they were not very accommodating. For example, I decided to have my dress bustled at another location and when the other lady messed up my alterations, I asked David's Bridal if they could bustle it. They basically said that they won't touch it if anyone else has done work on it. I felt like after I spent $600 at their store that they could at least help a bride in need.

The lady that did my alterations was very sweet, but I was very unhappy with the bustling that she did. My dress had small beads and embroidery all over it and just a hidden zipper in the back. Yet, she placed four white satin buttons in a horizontal (almost-not quite even) across the back of the dress. I was so disappointed that I cried and my mom ended up redoing it herself.
We selected 2 different kinds of soup with bread bowls for our guests. The soup came in these large bags, already hot. We put the soup in electric roasters to keep it hot. We also ordered salad from Panera Bread. They came in large black bowls that looked nice (not chintzy). They were on time, help set everything up for us, and were very accommodating. I would definitely select them to cater my wedding again!
