I'm excruciatingly picky with my photographer since I meet a new photographer every few days. You see, I'm a fashion model. For my wedding, I got so picky that my fiancé got a bit uh, frustrated with me. I did not like all 7 photographers we met (some of them are supposedly high end). I found Michael Soo of Capture the Love via not one, not two but FOUR recommendations from friends and fellow models. "He's the best and has the personality to go with it" is what I kept hearing. After meeting near to 10 photographers, I doubted he would be it...well, until I met the guy in person.

His knowledge in lighting, fashion, lifestyle, etc. are way above most photographers I've met. Then I realized that not only is he a wedding photographer, he's also a fashion photographer, a food photographer, commercial photographer, landscape photographer and whatever else he does. This guy is definitely the real deal.

Our wedding is in Milan, Italy. So, flying a team to Italy can be pricey and my fiancé prefers hiring a team there instead. However, after seeing Michael's work, made my fiancé and I changed both our perceptions. The results from our Engagement Session was absolutely stunning. He would show us the images off his camera (most photographers would not, due to needing the photoshop them first) and every single image was beyond stunning.

As an experienced fashion model, a bridezilla (only to photographers), someone who cares about imagery more than most, I cannot recommend Michael Soo's team of photographers and videographers more. If I can give him 10 stars, I would.

I LOVE TIFFANY CHIANG!!! I got to say, I'm an extremely picky bride when it comes to imagery and makeup. Why? Well, because I am a model and I have worked with great photographers and makeup artists every week, for the past 3-5 years. So, picking a makeup artist for my wedding is excruciatingly painstaking.

This review is for both Capture the Love Photography & Videography team and part of their team includes a phenomenal makeup artist, Tiffany Chiang. Our wedding is in Milan, Italy. So, flying a team to Italy can be pricey. My fiance preferred hiring a team there instead. However, after meeting with Tiffany, my perception changed completely. Her personality and aura of kindness is real. She would not just compliment me and say I'm beautiful like everyone else just to get my business. She meant what she said; went to educate me on skin care and makeup (since I'm in the business, I already know most of the tips but I did learn a few extremely valuable tricks! For example, did you know that just by applying a thin layer of tape/organic glue, she can create double eyelids out from someone with single eyelid, OR exfoliating the lip can help with how luscious the lips can look!)

Tiffany is absolute delightful to work with, down-to-earth and extremely knowledgeble about skin care, makeup, hair styling. I would kill to get her team with me to Italy but at this point, I will only pay for her and Capture the Love Photography / Videography for our destination wedding. I am SO looking forward to traveling with such amazing artists!!!

We found Brilliant Earth via Michael Soo of Soo Photography, the photographer who shot the wonderful product images for them. Their website was extremely descriptive, cleared away all our questions on the get go. Initially, our plan is to get our rings with the hearts on fire diamonds but after seeing their diamonds and design, we decided to go for their design right away. The customer service is top notched and they really care, not just about the environment, but us as brides, who are going through a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
