We went to Door County, Wisconsin, and it was marvelous! The inn we stayed in was cozy, homey, and the breakfast was great. It was a nice place to go to get away and relax after the whirlwind. If you're into small uncommerical towns, I definitely recommend it. And you HAVE to eat at the Whistling Swan- whoa.

I can't eat cake (gluten allergy) so we decided to have an ice cream bar instead. We went to Poppy's in Lee's Summit and were able to custom create our "wedding flavor". The owner really knows what she's talking about when it comes to ice cream, and her stuff is delicious. We had one gallon of the flavor we created (and were so sad when we ran out!) and a couple of vanillas with different toppings people could put on top. It was a hit!

WE LOVE PAUL DODDS!!! My husband designed a custom engagement ring with them, and they did an amazing job. They did both of our rings, my jewelry, and my mom's jewelry, and they made it fun! They're the nicest people you could ask for, and very willing to think outside the box. We're customers for life now- I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for any jewelry needs. They're even making cool stuff for my mom now out of some antique jewelry she has. I LOVE THEM!!!

I saw them at the Brookside Farmer's Market, and loved their flowers. I called, and asked if they could do a bouquet for me, and they said they'd love to. I didn't provide much direction- just that I wanted something earthy with some purple in it. It ended up costing me $15, and it was the most beautiful bouquet! Wouldn't have done it any other way.

I went to the Plaza store to get my stuff. I wanted to do my own makeup for the actual wedding day, and they were great showing me what to do, how to do it myself, and making sure that I was happy with what I got. And now I have really great makeup that I can still use to show for it!

I got a beautiful dress off the clearance rack from them. The price was right, and the fit was great! At times, the staff came off a bit rude, which was a bummer. I don't know if that has something to do with me not spending much, or if that's how it goes. Overall, I was pleased, though- everything came out great for the dress!

Ash and Jer could not have done a better job at capturing our wedding day. We even picked our wedding date around them! Not only to they have a creative eye, they have huge hearts, and that shows in their work. They added to day- and in a good way, not in a crazy-photographer-stressing-you-out way. They fit seamlessly, and never tried to create moments. We love them, love their work, and have gained life-long friends in the process!
