We worked with Vikki for the engagement ring and our wedding bands. She was so wonderful and we'd go back to her for everything if we could. Unfortunately, she doesn't work there any more and the rest of the sales staff is a little pushy and impersonal. None the less, the offer top, quality brands at good prices. We'll continue to go there.

We recommended that all of our guests stay here because it was somewhat close to our wedding site. Despite the rural location, this hotel was top notch. Clean rooms, friendly service, and great breakfast. I'm so glad that most of our out of town guests stayed here.

I went to Abbott's only because they were able to order the Midgley and Sottero dress I wanted. The store is VERY sales oriented. I can appreciate needing to sell stuff to make a living, but they these girls would sell you a horrible, ugly dress if they needed to make a sale.

Katie did exactly what we wanted and for an excellent price. She is an award winning artist and made a very delicious cake. We just had our 1 year anniversary cake today and it was just as delicious as the day we got married. Try her almond flavor...soooo good!

My husband and his groomsman got their tuxes from here. Overall they were OK for a chain store, but the service was kinda blah. Trying to deal with them after the initial "sale" was difficult, especially with my three young nephews. One of the sales guys was really nice, but was really swamped and wasn't able to help us that much. The day before my wedding there was a problem with my nephew's tux and my sister (nephew's mom) said the woman at the store was VERY difficult to work with. My sister had to ask me to come to the store to deal with her. After I got there and talked to her, she was suddenly very accommodating.

I also found it interesting that they did not feel the need to mention to the guys who were renting white tuxes that they might want to get white boxers or underwear. They offered absolutely no assistance when the guys were scrambling around to get white underwear after their fitting the day before the wedding. Common...how many times has the average guy worn white tuxes and how many times have they sold white tuxes??? They could have mentioned that or at least helped the guys find new drawers.

For anyone interested...pay the extra money to go to a more personalized boutique.

Another great experience working with Caitlin from Darby house. The setting is gorgeous, the prices are much less than you expect to pay for a place like this. At first I was bummed that I couldn't choose my own caterer, but when I saw their menu selections, it was fine. Perhaps and improvement for them would be to offer a tasting, as we had to order our food just based on the menu descriptions. Luckily for us, we had guests tell us it was the best food they'd ever had at any wedding and that it was restaurant quality. The hours devours were also delicious. It was so nice to have everything all at one place: the ceremony was outside (BEAUTIFUL) at 6pm, then a cocktail hour while the wedding party took photos, then dinner in the large room. For a small fee we even got a pontoon boat to take our guests for rides on Darby Creek during cocktail hour.

Overall I have to say they were very accommodating and just nice people to work with.

If I could give more than five stars for this band I would. All of my guests were BLOWN AWAY by their music. They had such a great mix of classics and newer stuff too. The female lead singer could transform her voice from any range to Etta James, to Fergie and even Shakira. They guys were spot on as well. I was a little taken back by the price, but taking into consideration the fact that they came from Cleveland and how amazing they were, I'd have paid double what I did. If they knew the song, they would play it for us. They even had us fill out a questionnaire about what type of music we liked and things they shouldn't play and they nailed it. A++

Jerry was really easy to work with. He totally listened to what I wanted and stayed within our price budget. We didn't really need that many flower arrangements, but he still treated us like we were big budget customers. They even have a special wedding meeting room to discuss and show you all your options. These guys are considered to be first class in our neighborhood.

Jaime and her girls are the best! They were always there for me and also helped me come up with some great ideas. I can't believe that our wedding LITERALLY went off with out a single problem. These girls know their stuff and aren't afraid to go to bat for you with your vendors if need be. They gave me great referrals for my cake, dress alteration and flowers. Not to mention they did everything with a five month time budget. I was probably more calm than any bride should be on her wedding day thanks to them.
