Kelly was very accommodating and professional. I had a trial session on a weekday and the price was very reasonable. My maid-of-honor accompanied me to take pictures and to get an idea of what to expect for her own make-up and hair.

Another great attribute about working with Kelly is that she is really gentle when she applies make-up on you and styles your hair. My eyes are very sensitive to make-up but she was patient and able to make them look great. I requested a natural look for how I wanted my make-up to appear and she did a wonderful job during the trial session and the actual day of the wedding. My ceremony took place in Orange County and I was very grateful to Kelly and the other make-up artist for driving all the way from Pasadena. They arrived promptly at the hotel. I felt really guilty for asking them to come at 5:00am, but Kelly had mentioned during the trial session that another bride had requested her to arrive at 5am so I was relieved that it wasn't the first time that she has had to get up so early! My ceremony began at 10:30 am, and in addition to myself, there were 3 bridesmaids who needed their hair and make-up done, while the mother-of-the-bride requested only make-up, and the mother-of-the-groom asked for only her hair to be styled. Kelly and the other make-up artist managed to have all of us ready by 8:30am! I had mentioned to Kelly that I needed to be ready by 8:45 in order to leave to get pictures taken before the ceremony and she was excellent at managing the time without making us feel stressed or rushed.

My only concern is one that has been mentioned in other people's reviews -- my up-do and my bridesmaids' hair styles did not stay in place for long. Some of the pins were falling off before the ceremony. But other than that...

I highly recommend Kelly and her staff for weddings and other events. Throughout the entire process, she kept in touch and always responded to my phone calls and emails right away, which is a huge sigh of relief for any bride who is planning her own wedding.
