A friend of mine got married and used An Ha for tons of stuff in her wedding, including ceremony flowers, chair covers, reception decor and centerpieces, and makeup. Keep in mind that this review is from the guest's point of view.
She did an ok job and it seemed that things were set up in time, except people were still setting up the ceremony aisle runner and flower petals 20 minutes after the ceremony began.
The flowers were totally not matched at all - random blues, pinks, whites, yellows all bunched up made things look splotchy. The bride's bouquet was gorgeous but the bridesmaids bouquets looked like anyone could make them (tie up some calla lilies and you're done).
The reception decor was not so great. The one good thing was the chair covers were all tied and presented on time. Maybe I'm just not that fond of balloon pillars because they remind me of high school assemblies and prom. The centerpieces were minimal, and every table had multiple business cards strewn everywhere. Why would someone decorate a wedding with their business cards, especially when you are already being paid?
The one great thing I can say is the hair and makeup looked great and my friend looked gorgeous.

Sugar Bowl Bakery is a great place for anyone looking for a good-tasting cake that won't break the bank. The pricing is very straightforward and simple. Michelle will answer your questions very simply and will not try to "sell" you into spending tons of money like many vendors try to do. My personal favorites flavors are the tiramisu and the berries and cream. Initially, I was most interested in the strawberry rum though I was disappointed that it didn't taste so much like rum to me. The only small con is that they can only do a limited number of designs, so if you want something really elaborate and unusual and you are willing to pay lots of money, you might consider another bakery. However, if you want a good quality, nice-tasting cake that won't break the bank then Sugar Bowl Bakery is a great place to check out!

My friend rented a chocolate fountain for her wedding. All the guests loved it and had tons of fun dipping strawberries and other things in it. She served it during the "cocktail hour" at Kohl Mansion. It was a perfect way to entertain the guests and satisfy all the chocolate-lovers at the reception.

Sonia made a beautiful cake for our wedding. We had a 3 layer cake with buttercream frosting (my husband insisted not to have any fondant). Each cake was a different flavor - strawberry shortcake, grandma's boston cream cake, and death by chocolate. My personal favorite was the strawberry shortcake.

Kohl mansion is a beautiful place with a spectacular area for an outdoor ceremony. While the location is beautiful, it does come at a price but at least the money goes to the private school there. The coordinators are not the most responsive and not really the best at communication. I emailed them for an inquiry and asked her to email me her price list, and got a very curt response from Terri. So I emailed Diane instead who was much nicer and mailed me some beautiful pamphlets of the mansion. I asked to visit during the weekend but Diane unfortunately was not available and said that Terri would meet with me instead. FI, his mom, and I went to Kohl Mansion and thought is was very lovely. We wandered around for awhile and finally had to flag someone down and ask if we could meet with someone. The person, confused, went to find someone who eventually came down, was very nice and gave us a 5 minute tour, and then left us by ourselves. I guess she forgot we were coming or were too busy to talk to us? Anyway, I think the setting is absolutely gorgeous and would have given it 5 stars, but I guess don't expect to get a lot attention from the coordinators there.

If you're planning a wedding then Jessica McClintock is a must! They have tons of options for wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and mother of the bride/groom dresses here. It's also a great place for other special occasions as well.
I love how you can try dresses on in many different sizes, unlike most stores which only carry sample sizes that are either way too big for some people, or too small for others.
The service is just so-so, but for the price you really can't beat the affordability and convenience!

I went to a wedding ceremony and reception here. The food was very good - we had chicken, which is often very dry for wedding receptions but this time it was very moist and juicy.
The decor was beautiful and strange at the same time. It is an athletic club, so the reception area was right next to the tennis courts and pool. It was decorated though so it looked nice.
I loved, loved, loooooved InPrint! I got my invitations custom designed and not only did they look better, but they were cheaper than other invitations. I highly recommend InPrint.
