I went to this Charles Penzone location to have a trial hair and makeup done for my wedding day. they told me i would have to pay full price for the trial as i would be leaving that day looking just like i would on my wedding day. I agreed and went in for the trial. i had prepared pictures of the exact hair that i wanted and the girl started working on my hair. she was very nice the whole time but when she was done it looked nothing like what i had asked her for. for pictures go to the link below:
i asked them to fix it but she couldn't because she had another appointment, i then went over to makeup and that girl was really nice too but she didn't put any foundation on my face just tried the different colors out and then she did my eyes two different ways for me to see, after she was done she washed it all off i didn't even leave with any makeup on. unlike what they had told me i left with terrible hair and no makeup and paid full price.
i called to complain and the first girl that i talked to was really nice and transfered me over to the polaris location where it was done at. the manager there was pretty rude in a passive way. she said that she got this a lot with brides and that the expectation was that it was about the way you looked when you left but it was more about figuring out how to do the hair on the actual day. i told her that i was very dissappointed and she said that she would have me come in for another trial. i said i didn't want to and that i had another person doing it this saturday for me. i told her what i wanted was a gift card for the amount that the hair cost, i really like the makeup girl and she did a good job when it was on so i was fine with that card.
she said that she was going to give me a 50% refund since it sounded like the girl did 50% of the work. i said, no she didn't i left there looking terrible. and i feel that i should get the full percent of the hair back and she said fine, i will issue a 100% refund and you can come and pick it up!
HOW RUDE! at least i got my money back.
I am never going back to that location again and after my gift card is used up i won't be going back ever again, it was a very bad experience and the website even states right on the front page that they are sopposed to be giving "world class service" far from it.

Bought a pair of gold flats from them, they were perfect and i absolutly love them. shipping was a little slow but they gave me a date that they would be shipped by and they were in fact shipped by the date they said. i couldn't ask for more from a shoe company.
I saw a shawl on this website that I fell absolutely in love with so I wrote them and found out that they would also give me a military discount on it if I ordered. I went ahead and ordered it and the lady told me that it would take 25 days to get done. I waited and it came on time. I was so happy to open it but found that it looked nothing like the picture that they showed on the website. I immediately wrote them and told them that it didn't fit right, was the wrong color, and wrong fabric, nothing like what I had ordered! She tried to say that is was made by the measurements that I gave her and suggested that I measured wrong and wanted a picture.
I sent her a picture and said no I didn't measure wrong and that it fit perfectly fine it's just that it's not what I ordered. She said she asked me what I would like to do to fix it and I told her. We agreed on a 10 dollar refund and that I would try to sell the shawl on my own.
The customer service was pretty good if you can understand it through broken English but the product was completely wrong. I'm also not real happy with the whole refund as far as im concerned a good business will fully refund you, it was their mistake not mine.

I bought my shoes off of the zappos.com website and couldn't be happier. the discription and picture turned out to look exactly like the shoe when i came to my doorstep. I only took about 3 days for me to get them. i was not expecting them so quickly but everything was great about the whole experience. i would highly recommend them.
I ordered these earrings on a friday and got them by the next tuesday. The shipping was fast, she left solid feedback and the quality of the earrings were incredable. even better than what is pictured. She is willing to customize for your needs. I feel I will have a more special wedding day thanks to Etsy.com and Jewels by Wanda.
I went in here and the woman didn't even know that I had an appointment. She was nice enough but she made me kind of uncomfortable as she is very flighty and skittish. She kept asking me question after question and interrupting it with her own commentary. I feel like she didn't get as good an idea of what I wanted because she wasn't fully listening to me. The roses she picked out were more pink than purple which is what I wanted and I left feeling as if I missed something or I wasn't telling her something. She did have many good book references to look at and the shop is very well put together. I'm sure she's just a very busy woman and it came out during the consultation so I didn't use her for my florist.
I just changed this from three stars to two stars because she didn't even send me the price quote. she hasen't called or emailed me since the consultation. I just emailed her today to tell her I found someone else.

I was trying to work with this vendor for my wedding and at first everything seemed great. I asked her to give me a quote for around 100 people and she quoted me for about $750 which I found to be quite reasonable. Later on I asked her to add 50 more people to the quote bringing the catering service to around 150 people total. It took her two weeks and three phone calls to get back to me and then she said it would be an astounding $3100! What? How did 50 people bring it up by more than quadruple the price? It doesn’t make any sense and it was never explained to me. Needless to say I got frustrated and went with a different vendor.
The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because if you are looking for under 100 people it seems to be a really good deal and I would have used them initially if it wasn't for the huge jump in price.
I'll never know how much the ring costs as ive never been to the store. my father has worked with fred myer for years to buy my mothers fine jewelry and when my fiance decided to ask him for my hand my dad knew there was no other choice. my fiance bought my ring there and it is beautiful and everything i could have wished for. he got his there too. i get compliments on my engagement ring all the time and im sure after i get married and am wearing the wedding band i will get even more. i couldn't have asked for anything more. they are wonderful.

I don't remember how much i spent on my dress due to the cercumstances but i remember it being very reasonable. everyone was very helpful, they set me up for a taylor to take it in if i needed. i was called right when my dress came in and the fitting was very smooth. it didn't take me very long to pick a dress and they let me know about all the accessories i needed to help my figure look better for under the gown even though im not that big. it takes away the little imperfections. its these small things that count and i really appreciate it.
I have also ordered my invitations from them, completely personalized and beautiful. They were the cheapest I could find anywhere. I highly recommend them for invitations.
