We went to Ben Bridge in Clackamas. They had a couple white sapphires that were beautiful. We love our ring because no one can tell it isn't a diamond and we saved well over $1000! If you love your man (and being free from debt) more than a rock from South Africa, consider a white sapphire.

We wanted to have some food for our guests at our reception so we bought some pre-made sandwiches and fruit and veggie trays. We would suggest getting only one veggie tray and the rest being fruit trays because that's what our guests wanted.
We had an outdoor reception overlooking the Salt Lake Valley and it was beautiful! We rented a dozen round tables to seat guests. We loved that Diamond delivered right to the park where we held our reception!
I had just gotten engaged when I heard that Mr. Mac was having it's 2 for 1 suit sale. I didn't want to pay to rent a tux when I could pay about the same to buy a suit to use for my wedding and for church/work for years to come. The suits fit great and I love wearing my suit and thinking about the day I was married.

We were worried both about hot weather and the chance of rain on our special day but the Lord blessed us with a perfect day...sunny and 80 degrees. We couldn't have bought a better day! The best part? The temple is beautiful and free.

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay. The cabins next to Old Faithful are very simple (a bed and a sink and a light), but that's all you need. We saved money by buying food at a grocery store in Jackson and then bringing it into the park and using a microwave in the lodge to eat our food.

There are only a few bridal shops in Utah County. This was the first one we went to and we loved it. The other ones have immodest or weird styles, but Allyse's knows you are going to the temple. We also loved that the sales girl would come into the dressing room to help me try on the dress (not a job easily done solo).
Yeah, we met while working at BYU laundry and had a co-worker help us to alter my dress. The best part? It didn't cost a dime and it looked great! Too bad they don't do that for everyone.
I got back to my hotel really late the night before my wedding. I was starving and wanted something to eat...we drove to downtown Portland and ate greasy food at a bar on Broadway just up the street from Mary's Place...It was good and the bartender was funny.
