With a large wedding party it is hard to find a location that you can all be together and get your nails done before the wedding. Well Majestic Nail is the perfect place for a larger wedding party to do so! The salon is a a big open area and there are about 7-8 pedicure chairs that face the manicure stations, so even if we were doing different things we were still able to all talk and be together. They also do a great job on both manicures and pedicures. We were all so pleased with how our nails looked. They offered us wine and other drinks while were hanging out and this is the place I still go to get my nails done. It's just perfect for a large wedding party

This was a gorgeous hotel! We stayed in the executive suite and I am pretty sure it was bigger than our apartment. The bed was super comfortable and the whole room was just romantic. They had strawberries and champagne for us when we arrived and there was a very nice robe for each of us that we were able to keep and take with us. There was a large bathtub as well as a large shower that was separate. There was a large sitting area that was also separate from the bedroom. The view from our room was also beautiful and we did not actually go to the restaurant but there is a very nice restaurant on the bottom floor as well as a spa. It was the perfect place to spend our first night together!

Rob was an amazing DJ! We met with him a few times before the wedding and he was so fun and knew so much about music. We were able to make a list of songs that we could NOT live without and I am pretty sure he played all of them. He wasn't annoying at all, like many DJ's can be, and was a great announcer and you could tell that he was there to play the music that we wanted and to make sure the guests had a great time dancing. One of my fears was that no one would dance but looking at pictures I think that everyone was out on the dance floor! I recommend him to everyone and he's already done my cousin's wedding, another friend's wedding and my company Christmas party! And I know that none of them have been disappointed.

Ashley Cakes was absolutely wonderful and I could not have been happier with our wedding cake! Ashley met us a couple of months before the wedding and brought different samples for us to taste and was just so easy to work with. She wasn't pushy and really seemed to have our best interest in mind. Since we were on a budget she suggested that we do the tiered cake like we wanted but have sheet cakes in the back to pass out pieces from that to cut costs. That saved us so much money and no one ever knew that is what happened. The cake flavors and variety was wonderful! We had yellow cake with raspberry, strawberry cream, and raspberry cream filling and from what I hear it was amazing (: But that's OK that I didn't really eat any of my cake because one of my favorite things about Ashley Cakes is that on your one year anniversary she will make you a small cake for you and your husband to enjoy at no extra cost so you aren't stuck eating a year old frozen cake!

Hadley King Photography is 2 wonderful ladies that do photography when they aren't taking care of their kiddies and they are very good at what they do! Their style is photojournalistic which I love and their pricing is so reasonable. Whenever I was looking for photographers I was so discouraged when I would get the quote and it said $8,000 dollars! I thought, "Well I guess i'm not having a photographer at my wedding!" And then I found Shannon and Lauren. They were so fun to work with and always listened to my requests and asked what I wanted from their photography. Their packages were so wonderfully priced and they can customize the packages to fit anyone's needs. I would recommend Hadley King Photography to anyone that is looking for talented wedding photographers with reasonable pricing and who are easy and fun to work with!

Ok Ok, I know this is the last place you would think to get your flowers for your wedding but the HT did my bouquets, boutineers, and the flowers on the table at the reception and I could not have been happier! I will say that my flowers were very simple, which is what I wanted, so I can only speak for that. The flowers at the church were a gift so we did not have to purchase those. However, Gwen was amazing every time we talked and was so accommodating. I used all white and red roses and red and white rose petals to throw when we left the reception. We had ten bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, 1 flower girl and ring bearer, 6 parents, about 7 grandparents, and around 25 tables that needed flowers on them, including the cake table with rose petals and we paid no more than $800 dollars. I know that flowers can be so expensive so if you are looking to cut costs but still have GORGEOUS flowers for your wedding I would highly recommend Gwen at the Harris Teeter- Cameron Village.

White Memorial PC is one of the most beautiful churches you will find in Raleigh. It has the wonderful steps leading up to the church, the long center aisle, and the beautiful steeple. The bride or groom, or an immediate family member (so mother, father, grandmother, grandfather) must be a member to be allowed to have your wedding there. Despite how beautiful it is if I had to go back and do it all over I am not sure I would have gotten married here because of how rude the wedding coordinators and minister were. I could write a novel about this experience however I will only write a couple of sentences. There were numerous rules that were in place that I completely understood but there were a couple that really bothered me. The coordinator, right before I was about to walk down the aisle would not close the doors so that they could be opened right before I walked out. She was extremely harsh with my father when he made it known that I really would like for them to do that and she practically yelled at him that that was not going to happen. Honestly that was part of the reason I was crying while walking down the aisle! As I said before I could go on and on. I wouldn't recommend it unless you know that certain rules will not be an issue with you at all.

Kari is wonderful and so is Jesse! Kari did my hair for my Bridal portraits and for my wedding day and I was SO pleased with what she did! They are fairly priced and you will not be disappointed if you go to them. The salon is so cute and a great place for the brides and bridesmaids to hang out and bring breakfast/lunch and just be together while they're all getting their hair done on the wedding day. I would highly recommend this salon to any bride looking for a fun, funky atmosphere and I would more so recommend the two stylists to any bride that wants their hair done perfectly on their wedding day!

Lee's Tailor is always wonderful. They are moderately priced and the people at all of the locations always do a wonderful job. They hemmed my wedding dress and they altered a few of the bridesmaids dresses also. I know that the bridesmaids were also pleased with how their dresses turned out and also with the prices and customer service. They also very timely in getting things back to you and don't charge much more to do it faster. I would recommend Lee's Tailor's to any bride or bridesmaid. The only complaint I would have is that the hem came out a little on the day of the wedding which was actually quite annoying. So if you do get it hemmed there make sure to stress that you want it to be very secure for dancing and what not. Other than that they are highly recommended.

David's Bridal is a place to look for your wedding dress if you go in there knowing what you want. I knew the exact kind of dress that I wanted so I was able to tell them that and they brought me numerous options. If I hadn't know what I wanted I would have felt a little overwhelmed with the size of the store and the people that worked there weren't the friendliest. I did love my wedding dress and was so happy with it on my wedding day which is what ultimately matters.
