I love Haydel's. We went in for our wedding cake consultation with a bunch of pictures of cakes we wanted to make into one. They did it exactly how we wanted it and the cake was absolutely delicious. We kept the top of the wedding cake to have for our 1st anniversary. Unfortunately, Hurricane Gustav had other plans and it was ruined. So I went back to Haydel's and asked them to recreate the top tier of our cake. It was wonderful. So, I plan to turn this into a tradition and go to Haydel's every year before our anniversary to get the top of our cake created.

Julia Bailey and her husband Max are absolutely amazing. Julia did our engagement photos and they both did the wedding. They are true professionals and put us at ease right away. Julia even saved my sanity at one point the morning of the wedding when my makeup artist didn't show. The photos they take are second to none. You want to book them far in advance though because they are in big demand.

Heather was recommended to me by my wedding planner. I booked Heather for my wedding. We did a trial run that was used for my engagement pictures. The trial run went quick though because her son was there and she had to take him to the doctor. In all fairness, I was about 15 minutes late because I had trouble finding her studio. Anyway, I loved the look and couldn't wait for the wedding. She was supposed to do makeup and hair for me, my mom, daughter, 3 bridesmaids, and the flower girl.

The morning of the wedding arrived and no Heather. My wedding planner and I repeatedly called her with no response. It was getting later and later. Can we say that I was having a commplete cow? One of Heather's associates arrived with an almost dead cell phone. She didn't know where Heather was either and because of the dead cell phone couldn't even try to get a hold of her. Plus she had to get to another wedding. She was able to do my hair and makeup but not anyone elses. And I was still 20 minutes late to my wedding. The limo had even left! We had to call it back.

I sent Heather e-mails. She never responded. She never apologized. Nothing. I was and still am outraged at her behavior.
