A total SCAM. When I first made the sample purchase from Rebecca in early May this year (2011), she was very efficient and quick to respond to my purchases. After I have put down almost USD 1K for the wedding invitation cards and thank you cards, she basically just disappeared. I had to chase her up via e-mail every day to get one respond from her and all I got was she "delivered" the cards BUT she LOST the tracking number. How could that be possible? If its so, she could have checked with the delivery company again! But no, instead she did not reply my e-mails!
In the end, I had to get my fiancee to call her up. And as usual, just like the previous brides, she is in the hospital AGAIN. Yes, AGAIN. Am not sure whether this is pure coincidence, but I am seriously thinking that this could be a potential business fraud.
Fact is product is not delivered, cash is paid. How do people think they should run their business these days in US when they are in a recession? By creating fraud to trick your customers and think that they would come back to you again?
Let me be very honest here. If you dont provide service, customers will badmouth you. For more aggressive customers, they take you to court. Simple as that.
I made a call to contact Dads Sokoloff (Rebecca's husband) tonight and he said Rebecca was in the hospital and he did not know anything about the business. According to the company registration website in the states, Dads apparently is the vice president and partner of Whiteaisle. They are also husband and wife. Theres no way that he does not know whats going on with the business transaction.
I then told him its unacceptable for him to tell me he didnt know anything and couldnt provide me with a solution as I had paid for their products already and my wedding is in one month! He still couldnt be more helpful but said he couldnt do anything. I then finally lost my temper and said to him, in fact I had already contacted the Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General in the New Hampshire and The Better Business Bureau of the United States about this case and if he still cant be cooperative, I will take him to court because I got all the email exchange and phone call recordings with me. He answered 'great, thats terrific, do it.' then hung up on me.
I called back and he said theres no point to talk to me whilst I tried to threaten him. Honestly, I did not threaten him but to give him a headsup that the department of justice will contact him shortly on this potential fraudulent case. He then broke down and said 'the wife is in critical situation in the hospital and he cant believe people like me can have no compassion for them.' Then my question is 'Have they ever fulfilled their fiduciary duties to be an honest vendor to customers? If they have delivered their products, would customers chase them up on their orders every day?' The fault is on them but he turned around and accused me of being cold blooded? If I knew my USD 1,000 would include so much troubles for my wedding preparation, I wouldnt have gone for this company.
So I heard back from the Head of Justice department from New Hampshire tonight and they are currently reviewing my case.
I also received Dad's email a few minutes after the Head of Justice Department e-mailed me saying that the parcel had actually never been sent out as Rebbecca thought it had but he would arrange an express delivery for my case this time.
If the parcel had never sent out, why did Rebbecca confirm with me in black and white that the parcel had sent out and told me to wait for it? I checked with her twice on different dates and she still said she had sent it out but she lost the tracking number. Is this a lie or is this a misunderstanding?
I think I dont need to give you all more analysis of this real case study.
I have very little hope on this time's so called delivery. As usual, I have everything in black and white as a reference/proof for future lawsuit if necessary.

It took a lot of chasing to receive our parcel. I appreciate they were going through a difficult time personally but we now having to rush send our wedding invites to friends and family around the world in time for our wedding but have to say the products look great.
