I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Salty's on Alki. While they usually discourage having the ceremony there, they were very flexible in helping me make that work, and even working with me to get a rehearsal in on-site. Every staff person we encountered was incredibly friendly and willing to go out of their way to take care of us. The manager for my event always made sure that my husband and I got any food or drinks that we wanted, and made sure that everything was to our liking. I've heard nothing but praise for Salty's from my family and other guests as well. The food was incredible - my only regret is that I ate too much earlier in the day and couldn't eat as much as I wanted to at the reception. The venue itself looked wonderful too. Of course you can't beat the view for a Seattle wedding, but the ballroom - while a little rustic - looked amazing and refined with all the linens on the tables and the chair covers on the chairs. We had a minimum food and drink cost to reach, but as long as we met the minimum everything else was included - tax and tip were still additional. We had no problem meeting the minimum, but prices for food and drink were still very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Salty's to anyone. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and for the price - I don't think the food, service, and view can possibly be beat.
