Edward's Photography is located in Madison heights, MI just inside of David's Bridal. They have been in business since 1902 and have wonderful pictures to show off! They have several different packages. The one I am choosing consists of the following: an engagment setting for free, up to 4 locations (so a before the ceremony, an after the ceremony, the ceremony and the reception, for example) a leather album, and a CD/internet to order pictures. They also have package deals going and for mine, I am able to get some money off of the package or use the coupon to go toward some of their side items. Edward's is definetly the kind of professionals you want taking your pictures for you!

The Dried Flower located in Grosse Point, MI allows you to do your flowers yourself if that is what you choose! He has many different silk flowers in his shop to choose from all of which would be more affordable than real flowers! He offered to create an example bouquet that I could take home to go off of for when I am ready to make the bouquets myself. He also offered to have me bring in my finished bouquet to take a look at and give any further pieces of advice for no extra cost! He explained that he would be willing to work with my budget and order me exactly what I wanted.

I am currently waiting for a price from him on some daisies that I am interested in. The $50.00 was an estimated cost. The owener did let me know, when asked, that having silk flowers for the bridesmaids is less expensive than having real flowers.

Un Amour Bridal and Tuxedo located in Roseville, MI is a place filled with friendly, cooperative and knowledgable business owners! They have many different styles of dresses to select from. Dresses can range from $130-213.00 so whatever fits everyone's budget is what you can go with! Even the alterations are at a good price ($30.00).

When I went with my maid of honor to look at bridesmaid dresses, the woman that assisted me was there the entire time and had suggestions for any dress I selected. She was honest with giving her thoughts and seemed to know exactly what she was talking about. Great place to work with!

My fiance, myself, my cousin who is getting married, her fiance, their two friends who are getting married all attended the Palace Of Auburn Hills bridal show in September. It was amazingly huge!! They had yummy desserts to taste as you went along from booth to booth and had many many different vendors to visit as well. The tickets were pretty affordable to attend and you could enter to win different prizes such as a Mary Kay pampering day for you and several guests, honeymoons and wedding packages. I highly recommend attending the next bridal show because it will give you many different ideas of what you might like to do for your big day! It was great fun and filled you up along the way too!

We are getting our wedding cake from Apple Annies Restaurant located in Roseville, MI. This is not your everyday typical wedding cake, either! It is a sheet cake filled with strawberry delight and goodness! Each sheet cake is approx. $45.00 in cost and can feed about 60 people. This cake is called Strawberry shortcake and is simply divine! The baker is also willing to order us strawberries to decorate the cake with, with the option of having them dipped in chocolate! This cake has been well known for his wonderful taste and I think it is a unique way to celebrate the day!

Jennifer Rupersburg works at Ashcroft and Oak Jewlers near Grand Ripids, MI. She is an excellent manager at this store! This is who my fiance purchased my engagment ring from and she really knows her stuff about jewlery! She was extremly polite and very friendly to work with always going the extra mile. You can tell that she is a very hard worker! I believe that Ms. Rupersburg has transfered to their sister store Rogers and Holland near Grand Rapids, MI. I would definetly try to track her down and have her sell you jewelery. I plan to order my fiance's wedding band from her, my wedding day jewelery and possibly jewelery for the bridesmaids.

My fiance and I are getting married at St. Lucy's Catholic Church located in St. Clair Shores, MI. I had called this church about a year ago inquiring about marriage classes and such. The priest spent 30 minutes on the phone with me talking about marriage and life. No other priest that I called had done this with me and I thought that was simply wonderful. When I had to meet with the priest to become a member of the church he was very friendly and personable. When my fiance and I both had to meet with the priest to set a date for the wedding, he made it very fun for us and did not discourage the fact that my fiance was not Catholic. I believe this church was a wonderful choice for us not only for our wedding, but also for our spirits as well. I believe a donation of $200.00 is required at the time of the ceremony and the marriage class we chose to take is $80.00. Some of the classes are more, and some are less expensive. You have the option to decide what class you would like to take and when you would like to take it. Also, I believe at the ceremony if you would like anyone to sing or play the piano, those are extra fees.

The Dried Flower is located in Gross Point, MI. This gentelman sells silk flowers and was just the kindest most friendliest man! He explained that he would be willing to work with me and try to give me whatever I want. He has no problem with creating me an example bouquet and taking that to create my own after purchasing the silk flowers from his store. As of now, he is looking into some flowers I chose and will be calling me with pricing information. Since he was so willing to work with me regarding style and price, I will be using him to purchase silk flowers for my bridesmaids. I had to put a price down in order to complete my review, so the amount I chose was not accurate. However, he is more affordable than Michaels.

Pro DJ Services has been a wonderful company to work with thus far! Their rates are less expensive than many other DJ's out there and their level of professionalism is outstanding! The package we chose was a 6 hour package for approx. $849.00! Of coarse they have other packages and side things to order, but this is the package that suited us the best. Jason Parent is the President of this company and he offered to come right to our home to go over package details. On the evening he came over, he spent a good amount of time with us going over every important detail for our special day. Before we met with Jason, we were able to view a CD he made with several different DJ's to choose from. We decided that our style matched Jason's and he will be our DJ on our wedding night.

Lakeland Manor, located on 9 mile Road in St. Clair Shores, MI is a wonderful place to have your wedding reception. Although I have not yet had my reception, I am certain that this place of business is going to accomodate to my every need and desire. Several months ago I had a taste testing of the food where we were able to bring 4 guests with us. We had a table set up in the back, and were served the foods from 2 different weddings going on that night. The food was simply amazing! The owner also spent time with us after we ate to discuss his place of business and offered us his assistance if needed. This particular location will be newly renovated on the outside this winter. The inside of the hall is beautiful with a waterfall on the wall. Lakeland Manor has much to offer and we are thrilled to have our recption there as we know that our special day will be one of the greatest events of our lives.
