My sister's having her wedding here, and although some people think the church looks like a spaceship, I think it's gorgeous. The inside is gigantic with intricate decorum. The hanging cross (it looks like it's suspended in air) is something that tourists come to see. This church is great for big weddings.

I originally wrote this review before my sister's wedding, so I thought I should write a new one. We had our rehearsal dinner here, and although I've never dined here for a sit-down meal, their catered food sucks. The only thing good about this place is the incredible view. It has a great ambience, but if you care about food that tastes good, don't bother going here!

I went here for my high school prom and it was very elegant. It's perfect for hotel weddings. However, like most hotel catering, it's not exactly the best.

As someone who's originally from Fremont, I was actually a bit weary about this place when I heard my friend was having her wedding here. Growing up you just hear that it's a farm. Wedding on a farm?? Uhhh.... but to my surprise, it was really nice! There's a cute patio/veranda area that the couple got married at, and it doesn't feel farm-like at all (but more like a garden wedding). It's good for smaller weddings since it's outdoors.

I think the Rincon Center is a great site - the atrium is large and classy with a waterfall in the middle. The one caveat is that it's only good for Chinese banquets, so if you don't want to have Chinese food at your reception, I don't think it'll work out.

I live very close to the Legion of Honor and there are always wedding parties taking pictures there. For an actual ceremony site, I think it wouldn't be very practical, space-wise. However, it's a must for pictures if you're having a bay area wedding.

My friend had her wedding here and it was gorgeous. The outdoor scape of Tilden Park in Berkeley is a beautiful backdrop to any ceremony.
I think this place is a chain, and unfortunately is nothing special.
I love love love Tartine. It has quality desserts and baked goods, but the best part is just the atmosphere of the cafe. As far as weddings go, they make a lot individual sized desserts that would go perfectly for a dessert table. Appearance-wise, their desserts are very rustic looking (which I like).
I'm just not a cupcake person, and these were good but nothing better than normal. I'm kind of indifferent though because cupcakes are just cupcakes to me. Nothing special.
