First let me say that I am not an overly picky person, but as a bride I am really wanting the best of the best. I want to have the most beautiful, most outstanding, most memorable wedding of anyone I know.

So, it took me 6 months to find a photographer, maybe more. I knew I wanted someone artsy, a bit photo journalistic, not too insanely pricey, and the list goes on. I found some people in the Bay Area that I liked, but nothing that I "had to have!". So, while stalking all Facebook photos of recently married friends to get ideas, I came across Duane's photo album on my friends page. I must have looked at the album for over an hour, drooling. My fiance, who usually isnt too into the wedding planning, came over to look and he was amazed as well. Duane's pictures are BREATHTAKING!!!

From that moment on I knew that I had to have Duane shoot my wedding. And I wanted engagement pictures. And after seeing some of his gallery albums of a Trash the Dress session, I knew I had to have that too!

And Duane isn't even close to where I live. I needed him as our photographer SO much that we drove 6 hours down to LA to do our engagement shoot! We had Duane give us a package that included traveling to our wedding, but we are driving back south again for our Trash the Dress session. It is all soooo worth it!

We did our engagement session last weekend and it was fantastic. Some photographers try to give you a "deal" with a free engagement session. Dont do it! We spent SIX HOURS with Duane on Sunday in multiple outfits, with a ton of backgrounds in the wilderness, getting every perfect shot. All for a reasonable cost. AND, to top it off, it got a little dark before Duane was able to get all the shots he wanted of our vintage outfits, so we got another follow up session the next day!!!

Duane is a perfectionist and your photo shoot wont be over until he is 100% confident that you got the best shots you can possibly get. Go to his gallery or blog. I dont need to co9nvince you, the pictures do the work all on their own!
