Hobby lobby was having a 50% off sale on their wedding supplies (excluding the items that were already on clearance for half off). We found our cake cutting and serving supplies, flower girl baskets, guest book, and ring bearer pillows for a total of $40. Normally, Similar items at other craft stores would have easily cost us over $100.
Both of my flower girls bought their dresses online at JC Penny for about $40 each since their dresses were on sale from $60. Their moms both thought that the dresses were beautiful when they saw them and the girls should be able to wear those dresses again for church or Easter.
My fiance bought my engagement ring here and we went back there to buy our wedding bands. We have a tight budget for this wedding and therefore could not spend much on the rings. We bought two plain white gold wedding bands and a special warranty for each one that lets us have them cleaned, repaired, and resized for life for a total of $120.

This is a two-man band from James Island. They specialize in Oldies and Classic Rock. Both men play guitar and sing. This is one of my favorite bands and since they are friends of the family, they learned a special song for us!

This is an awesome tour company! We went on a 12 day tour of Europe and saw some amazing sites! The average age range on these tours is 20-30 years old. You spend one or two nights in each hotel and have a bust ride between countries. At each stop, your tour guide gives you a map and a walking tour (sometimes including a special demonstration) as well as a list of sites and activities that might interest you. In certain cities, they also provide you with a bus/underground pass. After the walking tour, you are on your own to explore the city. At most stops, there are optional activites/excursions that you may do at an additional cost. Just make sure you have plenty of cash so that you can pay your tour guide for those activities.

If you or a relative lives in Wild Dunes, this is a nice cheap place to have a rehearsal dinner. Just don't plan on serving alcohol or you will have to use their bartenders and their minibottles with a minimum fee per hour and the price will grow exponentially.

David's Bridal is a good place to go if you want to allow your bridesmaids to wear different styles, while still having the same fabric. Unfortunately, the wedding gowns are very expensive and having a payment plan option is just not enough to make me buy one of their gowns. They do have a discount rack which goes down to about $300, but I found prettier gowns at lower prices in the locally owned stores.
The people at David's Bridal are very helpful, but I found it annoying that you are pestered with emails and phone calls asking you about your experience there after you've visited- even if you didn't buy anything!

This is the perfect location for a smallish wedding. They let you tour the chapel and reception hall with or without one of the people who works there. So much is included in the price, which is already lower than most ceremony or reception sites in the Charleston area. The people are very helpful seem to honestly want to make your wedding special as well as helping you to avoid as much stress as possible while planning it.
The people at Publix were helpful and faxed our order to a different location because the delivery fee would be much lower at the other store! They worked with us to alter one of their cakes to better fit our budget.

I bought my wedding dress here on sale for $60.00 when it must have been around $1,000 originally! The people at this store were so helpful and not as pushy as those at most bridal shops.
