Three years ago, a friend of mine booked Felicia Perry to photograph her wedding. My husband and I (then dating) were very impressed by the low-key, quick, efficient manner with which Felicia took her pictures. We particuarly liked that she didn't order anyone around; she quietly took pictures and expertly corralled troublesome family members, and at the end of it, the pictures were amazing!
When my husband and I got engaged, the very first thing we did was book Felicia as our photographer. In fact, we were so intent on having her that we were willing to set our date based on her schedule. It was remarkably convenient for me to contact her by email in the weeks preceeding the wedding (I don't like talking on the phone, and it was a relief for me to find a vendor that responded readily to email inquiries), and on the day of she was punctual, friendly and calm, exactly the combination any bride needs.
Our photographs are beautiful and unique--she even managed to get the perfect shot of my church organist doing the Safety Dance. It seemed as if Felicia knew what would be important to us, what moments we would want recorded, and she focused on providing exactly that. My husband and I are laid-back almost to a fault and did not provide much direction, but she still managed to give us exactly the pictures we would have wanted had we been bothered to spend any time thinking about it in advance. She read our minds.
Shortly after my wedding, my best friend got engaged, and one of the first things she did was book Felicia for her wedding. I got to see the pictures from it about a week ago, and they are flawlessly beautiful. I heartily recommend Felicia Perry Photography to any in need of an amazing photographer. She is worth any price.
