I never leave reviews; however, making it a POINT to leave a review for Evaâs Bridal of Orland Park! BRIDE PLEASE BEWARE--- I ordered my Maggie Sottero dress in FEB. for my wedding 11 months away, I originally was told 4 months to expect the dress and will have latest July. I called in July, no dress, and it should be in August now. August came and went; I called again and they told me there is a âshortage overseas of laborâ and dress is now promised in Sept. I call again in Sept. to make sure and had to wait for a call back, no call back was ever made. Again, I call a week later to follow up on the last phone call and the status of my dress since it was going to be in the beginning of Sept., the owner tells me it will be here end of September now that they donât like to hold inventory there. WHAT THE HECK!? I called END OF SEPT and speak with Hela (the owner), I was screened by the receptionist and she was with a client and will call me back, 2 hours go by and no call back!!- I call to speak with her again using a false name and put through right away- unbelievable! Let her know my frustrations and I havenât received communication, had 3 promised shipment dates, numerous phone calls I HAD to make.
She pointed the finger saying no one ever promised me 3 different shipment dates, I conveyed I ordered my dress over 8 months ago, where the F is it?? She said she will look into and when I asked for all this frustration is there anything that is going to be done? Her exact words- âWell what do you want? If you donât get your dress Iâll give you your money back!â.. Worst thing you can say to bride who has been waiting on her Maggie dress for over 8 months with no time to get another Maggie made from elsewhere!! I told her to read her reviews so many other brides had the same issue as me. And the most frustrating part of my wedding planning is waiting for my dress, she had no remorse! She said she will call me tomorrow and let me know where itâs at it shows shipped in her system and Maggie was closed for the day to verify. The next day I AGAIN called her and she told me it will be here LATEST next week, which is beginning of October! I went on FB and put a message out there to Maggie Sottero, had a response back within the hour someone would contact me. Spoke with customer care at Maggie and she said dress was dock (fww, some relief) if I donât hear back from Evaâs by next week Wednesday to call MS back. Here we are WED no call at all from Evaâs!! Called the manufacture back she had to look me up again and said I have no idea why they havenât contacted you, I will call them and call you back. It will be there tomorrow.. well FINALLY got a call back from Evaâs dress was in. They made sure to pound into my head at least 3 times the balance needs to be paid in CASH only, do you really wonder why?
AWFUL Communication AWFUL Customer Service.. The worst part of my wedding planning is this place!
