I ordered a rhinestone bride tank from Advantage Bridal. I recieved it in a timely fashion. I immediately tried it on because I had been so excited about it! I carefully examined the size chart before ordering. I picked a long XL tank, but it didn't fit.
I am a size 10 & when I put it on, it felt like a childrens' XL. I was so upset, I contacted them the next day & told them that I thought that they gave me the wrong size. They politely assured me that it was the proper size & because it is a custom item they won't take it back. I told them that I would be posting poor reviews on websites, so here it is.

I told them that I was posting negative reviews about their sizing, & they tried to dissuade me. I stated that I would say that the customer service was fine & that the shipment arrived in a timely manner. I explained that I thought that it was important for people to understand their sizes run very small, & somehow that incited a couple nasty emails from one of their customer service reps. I will NEVER buy anything from them ever again!

I received my order from Efavormart a couple months ago and looked it over and it looked fine. Now that I am going through it to prep for my wedding, I see that many of the 5 boxes of votive holders that I purchased are cracked or broken. Also, I was using the wired organza ribbon to make bows, and it looks like they taped two pieces of ribbon together to make my full amount of ribbon. Also, there was some fraying at the end and the wires were popping out.
I'm on a pretty tight budget, and I'm trying to do a lot of stuff myself. I don't know if I have any recourse at this point since I've had the items for so long and am only now really working with them. I hope that the stuff that I haven't opened yet (bulk tulle) is in better shape. It looks like it is, but I'm a little worried... :(

Wedding paper divas has really good customer service and they allowed me to make a couple rounds of changes to my proofs. The only problem is that my invitation wasn't the color blue that I thought they would be (they were more gray), but they were still pretty and very unique.

Wendy altered my bridesmaid dress for a wedding that I was in. She did a great job, and it fit really well.
I just went for my first fitting for my bridal gown, and she was very professional and spent a lot of time making sure that the hem on the multiple layers of chiffon would be good. I haven't gotten my dress back yet, but I have confidence in her work and would recommend her.

My best friend and I tasted Catering by the Family's food at a Bridal Expo in 2007. Their food was awesome and their prices seemed very reasonable. She hired them for her wedding in 2008, and they did an excellent job! I looked all over town and couldn't find a company with a better price for what we wanted, and decided to hire them for my wedding in February this year. They have been really helpful and offered to do a private tasting for us so that I could convince my fiance that this was the way to go. I really think that they will do a great job for my wedding!

My fiance bought my engagement ring through them, and it is beautiful. It appraised for more than he purchased it for.
We are in the process of buying our wedding bands through them, as well. Great company and very good customer service. Email questions are returned within a business day or two.

I always get my eyebrows done here by Anna. She is awesome!
Although its in a hotel, its a real salon and its pretty reasonably priced. We got our makeup and hair done here for my best friend's wedding, and we looked great. We also got 30 min massages beforehand, and they were nice, too. I've gotten facials here before, and they are awesome, too.
We have appointments to get our hair and makeup done here for my wedding. There's going to be a lot more of us, but I am confident that they will be prepared and we will look great!

Everyone thinks that they're getting this great deal when they go to David's Bridal, but they are wrong. I got a beautiful designer dress (Maggie Sottero) at a reasonable price at this local, independently-owned shop. Sherry and the girls at the Honey Pot are so sweet and have great customer service. They always remember me when I call or stop by. We got my dress there, as well as my 3 bridesmaids dresses there ($170 each). The prices are very reasonable and they have discounts for groups and paying in full.

Robert Sword was an excellent DJ at my best friend's wedding, and we decided to go with the same company for ours. He was very professional and dressed in formal attire.
We contacted them for our wedding, and Robert was unavailable for our date, but we are having Keith DJ at our reception. He called us on the phone and seemed very nice and professional.
I've called to ask questions, and they've gotten back to me within a day. They have a great website where you can plan out the songs that you would like played at the reception. We are working on lists for the different segments of our reception, and they said that they will play whatever we want them to play. We could do anything from giving them a list of songs in a specific order, or just giving them a genre of music to play. They seem very accommodating, and I'm looking forward to having them at our reception.

Fort DeSoto is so beautiful, and we really wanted to get married on the beach. Only problem is that it is so far from any reasonably priced reception sites.

We spoke with a woman about having the ceremony at the Gulfview Room (inside the park, near the fort at Fort DeSoto), and she was an interesting character. She jerked us around about the alcohol policy, and wanted to charge quite a bit of money for chair rental on the beach in addition to the $1000 fee for the wedding there. We met with her to look at the different options for the ceremony site and she took us to 2 locations, both of which were unsatisfactory for us. Although she seemed like a nice person, my fiance and I really felt that she wasn't listening to us.

I learned after speaking to my sister-in-law, who was just recently married in Largo, that the woman did the same thing to them last year.

We are still getting married at Fort DeSoto, but are doing it on our own. The only downside to this is that there is no back-up plan. With the Gulfview Room, you can have the ceremony inside the room in case of rain, but it isn't free.

I hope that everything goes OK for our wedding, but I'm much happier to do it on our own than have to work with her.
