I totally love scrapbooking and making cards. My husband calls this "playing with paper". Anyway I made nearly anything folded or printed from materials that I bought at my local Michaels. My local store has a lady that does classes now and again about wedding design stuff and she is really great. I heart Michaels.

We got two limos from Vogue limos. ONe for the guys and one for the girls and then we all got into one of them after the wedding. That worked out great. Vogue limos was very professional and reasonably priced. I'd use them again.

What I loved about buying dresses from Ann Taylor is that they really do have dresses that the girls could wear again. I did make that easier by choosing black. ( No it did not look like a funeral at all. My colors were black and white and hot pink.) I chose plain strapless black short a line dresses and we added a hot pink sash to each dress. The sizes ran pretty true to their store sizes and the measurement chart on the site was helpful. Everything was delivered on time.

We had a blast on our Carnival cruise. I loved all of the activities, the pre planned parties, the fitness center with an awesome pilates instructor, the track right on the ship. I don't love the rushed feeling you have when you stop at an island, but we just looked at like we were getting a taste of a variety of different places and can decide from there where we want to go back to one day. We did the eastern carribean. The absolute best time was had at Half Moon Cay, Carnival's private island! Don't miss going to the private beach with the clearest water you will ever see. Then the carnival staff makes thie big cookout so you eat your lunch right on that island. It was the most relaxing day we had!

We found the flower girl dress at JC Penney's. It's really an adorable dress that will likely get passed down for dress up now. No complaints to penney's. We even used a coupon!

They were on the apprentice last night and I was like, aw, that's where I got my shoes from. I buy shoes from here all the time so of course I bought my wedding day shoes on here. Both pairs. I got a pair of strappy white bridal shoes and then some white flat sketchers for the reception. Good prices, delivers on time. Good customer service. I've returned something to them and it was no hassle at all.

I was very skeptical about ordering our rings over the internet but my engagement ring is so beautiful. Also, we had to get it appraised to add it to our homeowners insurance and the jeweler that did the appraisal said that the diamond is the exact quality that we were told on the net. I thought that was important because it would be so easy for them to classify them one way and then sell you a different diamond. That's what I was the most worried about. But everything worked out great. It actually apprised for more than we paid Blue Nile for it too.

I had my shower here. The food was really tasty and they were very attentive to details. I would tell someone else to have her shower here too.

OUr cake was gorgoeous, it tasted good and it was worth every penny we spent on it.

I was really happy with my wedding DVD. They did a good job of putting the music in that I wanted and timing it just right. It's a great idea to get a video. The day goes by so quickly, you want to savor every moment and with a video you really can.
