My husband and I planned our Austin, TX wedding while living in California, so we relied heavily on our vendors to provide references and direction to pull together our perfect vision. When we fell upon Brass Tacks Events and met Kevin we were beyond excited! Kevin was a HUGE help in providing the best service, guidance and directing us to the perfect vendors to pull off our big day! Specifically my wedding hair was extremely important to me and not knowing anyone in Austin I used a friends recommendation for a “top hairstylist” in the Austin area. Unfortunately this “top hair stylist” was “too busy” to respond to my phone calls and emails so I shared my lack of response dilemma with Kevin and he jumped in immediately to solve the problem and lead me to the most AMAZING stylist, Mandy Silver… she ended up being the perfect person and did exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day hair, all thanks to Kevin for leading me to her! Most of all we loved how Kevin really listened to us, invested time with us and was always available for questions via email and phone. Kevin also understood how important the details were to me and brought my vision to life for both the rehearsal dinner décor and wedding day décor… when I walked in to the reception venue I was so overcome with joy, I cried… I was so excited to see the final product and all couldn’t have been possible without Kevin! He knew exactly what I wanted and did everything possible to make our day wonderful. He was so attentive during our events to ensure we had what we needed and that both nights ran smoothly. His assistant Lindsey was also amazing! She went above and beyond, even at one point in the night helping me to get replacement contacts from my room. It was such a pleasure to work with Kevin and his team… Brass Tacks Events is a wonderful company and I highly recommend Kevin to help plan any event!
