The package that we purchased was a "romantic evening" which was misleading. All you get is a regular room on a high floor with two bottles of champagne and a full breakfast in the morning. We were informed that parking would be extra to park in the deck so we parked on the street and took our chances. The room itself was nice but rather small. Our questions at the front desk were answered curtly and it took us a while to get any answers about our room situation answered. The breakfast was a high point, fresh hot food and cold food.

Everyone I spoke to recommended Take the Cake. This vendor had a lot of books to look through for ideas. She was very knowledgable and was able to make our "Wii" shaped grooms cake. The wedding cake was exactly as I wanted it and we were able to make all the layers different flavors. She did check on how heavy our cake topper would be so there weren't any accidents on the day. The cake stand deposit is never deposited, the check is kept and then returned after the wedding. The location was hard to find, it is located in a suburb and the sign is small.

This vendor had the best price and provided a lot more than just food. I met with her twice, on the first meeting she showed pictures of other events she had catered and gave me a price list. Catering includes set up, servers, linens, flatware, silverware, and clean up. When she found out my colors she provided overlays for the already provided linens to match my color scheme. She was very clear and organized as to what she needed and what would be provided. Her food displays on the buffet were beautiful and I am still asked from time to time who catered my wedding so they can get her for parties. Many people said the food was their favorite part of the reception!

I found this photographer at a wedding expo where she gave me a $100 coupon for her services. She was available all day for photos and showed me her portfolios. The pictures came out very well and she took all of my suggestions. She helped me decide when the best time for pictures would be and a good schedule for my reception. She met with me several times before the wedding to make sure she knew what I wanted. At the reception she stayed out of the way and only took pictures when needed. After the wedding you get all the pictures that were taken and an album to put them in. She has sent a lot of discounts in the mail since the wedding for doing reorders.

What I liked most about this vendor is the detailed service I received. You must make an appointment to meet with this vendor regarding weddings. They sit down with you and show books of previous weddings they have done. I showed them my inspiration pictures and found a few other things I liked in the book. I answered a lot of questions about the number of people in the wedding party, what flowers I wanted. I was very comfortable and had a lot of questions of my own answered. A few days later the vendor calls with an estimated cost, instead of guessing off the top of their head like other vendors, so I had a more concrete number for my budget. My flowers were very well done and held together all day. She cut my centerpiece cost because I returned the containers after the wedding.

This church is expensive, especially for non members, but is worth the money. The sanctuary is very large and the light lends itself well for pictures. We had full use of the gardens, sactuary, and fellowship hall all day. They provide a wedding planner for the day to make sure that everything goes right. This person also runs the rehearsal. We had no limitations except that there are no pictures allowed during the service except from the balcony, and the flower girl may not drop real flowers. We were not limited as to what we could do during the service. This site is air conditioned. Because this is a downtown church there are few actual parking lot spaces and most attendees will have to park on the street. The church will be undergoing construction on the educational section (this does not affect the sanctuary at all) for the next two years so keep that in mind. After the work is done there will be a complete bridal suite and air conditioned walkway from the fellowship hall to the church.

I was very nervous about ordering my wedding rings online but as a bride on a budget it couldn't be avoided. I found several companies online and checked them through the BBB and other recommendation sites. This site was highly recommended. They have a wide variety of rings and jewelry that were organized very well. I was able to order high quality rings for a resonable price. The site sent me a sizer for free and gave tips on how to size yourself and things to consider. I was impressed by how quickly the rings came and how nice they looked. It has been almost a year and both rings look wonderful.

I found this site through google and was trying to find quality invitations for a reasonable price. I registered with the site and had several proofs sent to my home. The proofs came very quickly and were very good quality. I was able to order easily and see an online proof. I ordered over one hundred invitations for less and a hundred dollars plus shipping. The site is very easy to navigate and I was able to get everything I needed and leave out things I didn't need such as RSVP cards. I was very pleased with the service I received and highly recommend this company.

This company had a large selection of templates for both Save the Dates and invitations. I was easily able to select ones I liked and view them side to side. I was able to personalize and preview what my Save the Dates would look like. I was able to edit text boxes and personalize how I saw fit. I signed up for their emails and got a great deal on them when I ordered. I was also offered coordinating envelopes, cards, and stationary upon checkout. Shipping was not much for the amount I ordered.They came very quickly and I was pleased with the quality.

Although I enjoyed the "bride to be" sticker, free magazines and samples I felt as if the show was lacking. Some vendors were very pushy whereas others didn't even man their booths. I did find a photographer there with a very good coupon. The fashion show and other similar activities were far between and nothing happened in the hour I was there. Although I had a lot of free things when I left, none were useful to me once I started getting more into planning except for the one coupon. Places we could park were not really addressed, we had to walk quite a ways to get to the doors that were open from where we could park in the deck. It was January so that was a big issue.
