My fiancé (now husband) and I decided that we wanted to have our wedding early enough so that we could spend time with our out of town guests after the official reception. We searched for a few months for a restaurant that was willing to accommodate around 30 people and not charge us a high dollar room fee. We found the perfect place in Napper Tandy’s. They reserved for us their outside, covered patio free of charge. We received excellent service and was treated very special by the staff. The atmosphere allowed for conversation with our guests. The food was great. We ended up getting just drinks and appetizers. I was very satisfied with our decision to do an after party and with our decision to have it at Napper Tandy’s.

I had a wonderful bachelorette party. We chose the Red Room in downtown Raleigh because they have tapas options. They also have an extensive martini list and a variety of Sangria. We ended up getting about six or seven food items and sharing. The atmosphere was perfect, not too loud so that we could have a conversation. The food was wonderful, I enjoyed each dish. I had the red wine Sangria which was very good, not directly from Spain, but still very enjoyable. They also do a good job of allowing you to make group reservations on their website. The waitress was very nice and provided us with great recommendations on food options. The location is lovely being in Glenwood South where there are many other shops in walking distance. I would defiantly recommend Red Room for a great bachelorette party.

This restaurant was amazing. I don’t think that I have received better service anywhere. They let us bring in our own groom’s cake and Champaign for a toast. They provided us with our own section of the restaurant and didn’t make us pay a separate fee or room minimum. We had a wonderful meal and plenty of options. My fiancé (now husband) and I decided to preview the restaurant before we committed. The owner provided us several appetizers on the house to try. My mother in law communicated with the owner on a regular basis. She was very impressed with the clear communication and the prices for the food. The night of the dinner they gave all the ladies roses and had a piano player playing soft piano music in the background. Our servers were wonderful and the food was fabulous. They even gave my cake decorator a rose when she delivered the cake.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Bucuti. As a treat, they upgraded our room to a suite on the first night that we were there in honor of our honeymoon. This resort caters to adults and therefore it’s quiet. There were not a lot of children running around. The high rise areas in Aruba are where most families go for vacation. The Bucuti prides themselves in their environmental policies, which were amazing. This produced one of the cleanest beaches that I have ever seen. The service was truly wonderful and so was the price. Aruba was also nice and clean. They have wonderful, clear blue water. The island is only 19 miles long. I suggest renting a Jeep to explore. I was intimidated at first, but it turned out lovely. We were able to explore many parts of the Island in one day and eat a restaurant that was located on the beach. I would defiantly go back and most certainly stay at the Bucuti. The only reason that I gave it a 4 was because the food was just ok. The breakfast was not great and their restaurant (the Pirate’s Nest) was good, but not 5 stars. However, there are so many outstanding restaurants in Aruba that it wasn’t a big deal not to eat at the hotel.

This was a wonderful place to stay before the night of the wedding. The Hyatt is less expensive than the Embassy Suites and the hotel is just as nice. We only needed one room because they provided a queen sleeper sofa. The room included a continental breakfast, which I can’t review because we had other breakfast plans, but it was a nice option. The Hyatt is convenient to the North Hills area in Raleigh. My one complaint is that they failed to have my parent’s room ready on time. They wanted to check in before way before the rehearsal so that they could freshen up. The Hyatt did apologize to my parents and worked hard to get the room clean as soon as possible. The room did come with two sinks, which is nice when you have five girls trying to get ready at once. Also, the bathroom is separate from the vanity areas, which is also a tremendous help.

I have been ordering from Jen for more than a year now and keep coming back for many reasons. The cakes are always fresh and moist. I have never had any complaints only rave reviews about how wonderful the cakes taste. She is less expensive than a lot of the bakers that I saw. She only charges $2.00 per serving. The delivery fee was very reasonable and she arrived on time and the cake was in place. We had a consultation about four months before the wedding where we discussed details. She then gave me a quote the day later, which I thought was very professional. The aesthetic appearance of each cake is extraordinary. I was so pleased with how she did our groom’s cake. The colors were beautiful and it tasted great, which added so much to my very special day.

There's a reason why you need a reservation almost every night of the week. This is our favorite restaurant in Raleigh. We had them cater our wedding and they did a wonderful job. They were very organized and everyone raved about the food and how they loved it. I believe that they have great food and wonderful service. If you are tired of the same appetizers at weddings (little chicken sandwiches, cheese displays, and cheese pasta) then this is the place for you. We had salads, unique varieties of flatbreads, and a tiramisu wedding cake lined with mini canolis. They are also very affordable for the quality of food they provide. We had around 150 people at our wedding. Great communication, we met with the owner personally and he gave us a price quote and a schedule of payment. We were in constant communication about any changes in the menu and the number of guests. They were a pleasure to work with.

This was a very stressful situation. I can truly say that this was the only aspect of my wedding that I felt uneasy about up until it actually happened. There was very little communication, the facilitator failed to show to two meetings that we had scheduled. We were told that we would be mailed a contract as soon as we put in a deposit for the room and we never received one. She only sent us back a vague receipt after hounding her for a month. We even got a call by someone who worked for her saying that our date was double booked. After a day, we finally got a call back saying that there was a mistake. We never received an itemized bill and when we asked about this the response was, “We don't provide an itemized bill.” I highly suggest going somewhere else for a reception. There was never a sign of professionalism. We wanted to save money, but should have looked further when we saw some of the warning signs. Always make sure someone is a professional before you agree to anything and feel free to walk away if you are uneasy about the situation. The reception did turn out well for the most part which is why I am being a little gracious and giving them a score of 2.

Jennifer is very professional. She was one of my vendors who I didn't have to worry about. We had an initial consultation where we sat down and discussed the different package options and she showed me her work. We then decided to go with her and we received a contract with the amount discussed in the consultation. We made a schedule around five weeks in advance so that I would be able to send this out to my family and the wedding party. There was clear communication through out the process. I was able to relax and know that my photographer would do a wonderful job on the day of my wedding. All of my bridesmaids thought that she did a great job. I love the pictures; I thought she really did a wonderful job at capturing the event with style. I also loved that she made some detailed shots so that we could remember each moment of our wedding.

The flowers were very fresh and absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved my bouquet and the flowers in the church. Also, Vanessa made this process very easy because of her wonderful communication. We met five months before the wedding for a consultation. I told her what I was looking for and she made some great suggestions. She then emailed me a price quote a few days later. She was half the price of the first florist that I interviewed. I also added some arrangement two months before the wedding and Vanessa did a wonderful job of putting together last minute requests. I was very confident throughout the whole planning process that Vanessa would deliver on time and that the product would be wonderful. I have to say that the product was even better than I expected and the service was outstanding.
