I don't understand how there could only one other review for Torino Baking. Julie deserves more accolades. Her work is fabulous. We had her make lemon buttercream and chocolate hazelnut cupcakes. For 56 people, we thought 75 were enough and that there were plenty to take home. I was wrong. People who normally don't like cake ate both cupcakes and raved about them. It was so popular that I didn't get to try the lemon buttercream :-(. If you get cupcakes, get 2 per person. Don't skimp!

Lisa was wonderful. She met with me twice and she was very responsive and open to my ideas. I had done a lot of research on other florists and I am fairly particular but her suggestions upon listening to my opinions were on the mark. She was able to substitute a different flower for me at the last minute, adjust to some of my additional requests,and was very professional all around. The flowers (bouquet, bouts, corsages, centerpieces, wreath) were more beautiful than I had imagined! Plus her prices were among the most reasonable that I had encountered. Thank you so much Lisa for helping make my wedding gorgeous!!

We've booked Rising sun for our September 08 wedding and we're very excited. At our tasting, the food was fantastic, fresh, and seasonal. Chad, the owner and chef is very talented and Deana, the event manager is really pleasant, nice, and prompt in her communications. Of all our vendors, Deana has probably been the most responsive. I'll update my review after our wedding.

The food was excellent. All our guests remarked on how the food was among the best meals that they have had, and hands down the best food they had ever had at weddings. When we had a tasting in their St. Helena kitchen, I was amazed to see a full size Viking range all wrapped in plastic ready to be transported to an event site. The secret to their quality is that they cook everything on site in their mobile, fully equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, we had a brief power outage during the reception which set us back in our timeline and then food was delayed but it was well worth waiting for. Our day of event coordinator, Renee was fabulous and the wait staff were efficient, friendly, and quick. Leading up to the event, Deana was very responsive to my emails and was willing to work with us in our ideas. I hope that we have a chance to have another event where we could hire them!

The one little quibble I have with them was that Deana told us that she would not be present due to another event on the same day but we had assumed Chad, the owner and head chef was going to be there during the wedding and he was not. That was a little disappointing.
