I saved the best for last. Brendan was BY FAR my absolute favorite vendor. He really knew what he was doing and that was really communicated to us since our first meeting about a year ago. He's awesome at reading crowds and knowing what to play and how to play it in order to keep the dance floor full. At our final meeting we asked him to edit our wedding song a bit (there was a slightly racy lyric in the beginning that would have offended our parents) and he took care of it for us at no extra charge- and it sounded great! He was really good about giving us advice when we couldn't decide on something, and he went above and beyond his job duties as a DJ. One example- we were trying to take some pictures on the stairs at our reception site and one of the flower girls started to get squirmy. Brendan went behind the photographer and started jumping up and down and making funny faces so that the girl would sit still and smile- it worked like a charm! Also, during the regular dancing period, I literally had 3 sets of couples and a couple of bridesmaids come up to me from the wedding next door and ask if they could join in on our party because their band sucked and they could hear the music from our room and wanted to dance. By the time our reception got cut short we had about 15 or so people from the other wedding partying with us! He was just so great and I can't rave about him enough. People are still talking about how great both he and the music were. If you are looking for a DJ that's not cheesy, plays great music, keeps the dance floor packed, and just all-around is a great MC it doesn't get any better than Brendan.

My Mother-In-Law took care of everything having to do with the chair covers so I'm not really sure about how the experience with them went. From my end everything seemed to turn out alright. I know that my MIL requested that the backs be tied in knots and not bows and they were tied in bows, but as far as I know that was the only issue.

No complaints. All of the guys tuxes came in on time with no problems. I also really liked the online feature where you could check to see who had been fitted and who still needed to do it- really helped us get the guys in line when it came down to the wire!

Our honeymoon at Sun Palace Cancun was arranged by AAA Travel. I can't rave enough about our trip. Absolutely everything was included, the service was always fantastic and the people were so friendly. I don't think we encountered anyone with attitude in our whole trip. Included with our rooms were also about 15 different tours of places Mexico- transportation and food were provided if you went. Everything was just amazing, the food was great and the accommodations were beautiful. We also had special wristbands that indicated that we were on our honeymoon, so we got a couple of t-shirts, a champagne and fruit welcome basket in the room, a special candlelight honeymoon dinner on the beach, a rose and glass of champagne when we checked in.the list goes on and on. DH and I want to go back ASAP! AAA travel was also awesome and very helpful and are included in the 5 star rating.

Nails/Massage/Waxing: This is a little hole in the wall off of Woodward, but a great place to go. It's got a great atmosphere and really comfortable furnishings. The girls also do a wonderful job and are fun to talk with while you're getting things done. The prices aren't bad either.

Those guys are sooo sweet and they really take care in creating high-quality jewelry. They're not the cheapest (and I cut corners everywhere I could) but they were definitely worth it and I wouldn't have gone with anyone else. They even let me get my ring cleaned for free whenever I want.

There was a lot of stress with them leading up to the wedding because a few other knotties had them cancel on them within a week of the wedding. DH had the job of taking care of the limo, so he would randomly call Joe every once in a while to make sure things were okay. Other than Joe seeming a little irritated, when all was said and done they showed up on time and the limo was nice and clean. There was a misunderstanding about champagne being provided that pissed DH off, so even though things technically went well the day-of, all of those stress factors put together net them 3 stars.

Dwayne is absolutely wonderful! I had my trial with him for my shower as well, and my makeup stayed in place all night on both occasions. I only had to reapply my lipstick a couple of times- everything else looked as fresh as when he had just put it on that morning! I can't recommend him enough. He's got such an awesome gift when it comes to makeup.

Alterations: I was worried about my dress (purchased @ David's Bridal) because every bride I had seen with it had these wrinkles in the bodice (yay David's Bridal.). When I took it to Michelle she immediately noticed it and pretty much remade the bodice to get rid of the wrinkles. She was really friendly and a lot of fun, and my dress fit PERFECTLY! I never reached down to hike it up and it stayed in place the whole night. I also really worked my bustle while dancing and it never fell out or even moved. She was definitely worth the money!!! She also has a great personality and really made the fittings fun- another one of my favorite vendors.

Shoes, Invitations, other stuff: Absolutely everything I did and ordered through them came on time and in perfect condition. The ladies are really friendly and helpful there- I'm depressed that my wedding is over because I no longer have a reason to pop in there!
