We had a local band play for our reception. It was so much fun, way better than a D.J. They played a list of music that we gave them. They were a great group of guys that did everything that we asked. They had a great sound system and were professional.

I got all of my flowers at Horrocks. We made everything ourselves, so we just went in the day before and picked them out. Their flowers are the best. I had my bouquet in a plastic bag with a spritz of water, for 6 months after my wedding, and it still looked as it did on the day of my wedding... 6 months!

Men's warehouse made renting tux's a breeze. We didn't have to do anything but pick them out. I sent an evite to the all of the groomsmen and i could track whether or not they went for their fittings. Everything was effortless, which is great while planning a wedding.

I had my reception at the Ionia Fair Grounds. I loved the place for a few reasons. 1. it was right next to the Grand River and an amazing bridge, which were both beautiful. 2. it held around 600 people. 3. They let us have the hall for three days, which is expensive at a lot of places, but inexpensive there. 4. They had tables and chairs.

It is a little run down, but we made it beautiful with our decorations.

I bought blank invitations from Wal-Mart and printed them out myself. It was a breeze. I went online to design the invites and printed them, easy as that. I received a lot of comments on them, they were just like ordered ones, but half the cost.

I got my wedding dress from David's Bridal where everyone was amazing. I went in with 21 dresses that I had seen online and liked. I tried a few on and eventually my bridal consultant started bringing me dresses that I hadn't considered and wouldn't have choose to try on. The one I got wasn't on my list and I would have NEVER had thought to try it on. It was the perfect dress for me.

We gave out Can koozie's as favors for our wedding. They were wonderful. They were so cute and they had exactly what we wanted. (which is difficult, since we wanted camo). We ordered them and got them quickly. We use them everytime we go out. Our guests loved them too.

The Cool School Bus is an actual school bus that drives parties around from bar to bar. It was SO much fun. The bus was clean and the driver was very nice. We went to Lansing and back hopping from bar to bar. We got free can coosies too!

Ramell at Imaging Art did a wonderful job. It rained on my wedding day; poured all day. She did an AMAZING job, even with what she had to work with. I was very bummed because we didn't get many outdoor pictures because we had a 30 minute window of opportunity. However, when I got the photos back they were just amazing. The overcast of the sky made the green grass pop out. The water on the sidewalks gave the pictures character that not many people's wedding photo's have. She took a lot of sweet photos of the receptions and a lots of candid shots (which I love).
