Men's Wearhouse seems to be pretty good quality and reliable, but not too expensive. I like theur website, you can check out color schemes etc. online.

Michael's is nice, but I think you can find just about the same kind of things at Hobby Lobby for sightly cheaper.

What I love here is the rooms. They have a beautiful room that you can use for cocktail hour, etc. with full windows that has a great view of the city. The food selsction isn't amazing, but it's decent.
If you don't mind having fake flowers at your wedding, you will save a TON of money with the fake flowers from Hobby Lobby. I know it sounds cheesy, but they actually look really nice and you can't tell that they're fake unless you're up close.

I think this is the best place to get a bridesmaid dress, mainly because my friends lived all over the country, but they all had access to a David's Bridal. It's great because they have a bunch of different dresses in the same color scheme. I got a dress once and the best part was it didn't need any altering. The one thing is, it might be hard to get help from a salesperson because they are all busy with the brides. I'm still giving it a 5 stars rating because of the ease of getting a dress.
Some people I have talked to don't like the feel of David's Bridal because it's so big and full of people... it definitely isn't a boutique. However, I like that it's a chain because it was alot easier to coordinate bridesmaid dresses with people who live elsewhere. I think this also ensures more responsibility and consistancy. The jewelry seems a little high-priced considering that most of it is fake, but the dresses are quite reasonable, and you can easily find something on sale. At any case, it's definitely worth checking out.

If you don't mind ordering your invitations online without seeing them first, these have good prices and a variety of designs.

I thought this would actually be a bigger shop, but despite it's small size I was pleasantly surprised. They have alot of dresses available (beware: it can take up to 5 months for the dress to be made and sent! normal with designer dresses though) and the degree of personal attention is something you won't get in a store like David's Bridal. I didn't end up getting a dress there, but I got some great jewelry at much lower prices than what I saw elsewhere. I mainly reccoment it for the jewelry.

I got my dress altered at David's Bridal. I think I had a typical experience. None of the prices seemed unreasonable when looking at the list of prices, but after taking in the bust, letting out the waist, shortening the hem, and putting in three buttons for the bustle (which are individually priced), I spend close to 500 dollars! It added up to quite a bit in the end, but since that is where I bought my dress it seemed easier- and if they need to redo something (ex. let the seam out after taking it in because you gained more weight), they don't charge you.

They have some great cake designs if you need ideas. What I think is really cute, even though I'm not doing it, is that they have cupcakes that you can do insead of, or in addition to a regular cake.
