Bijou provided very good service and has a beautiful selection of gowns in many price ranges. The only annoying thing was that we were told my dress would be in 6 months after we ordered and it actually took 8 due to the fact that we requested a change in the color of the dress. However, the gown came in with plenty of time for alterations which were done very well. We also bought my veil there which was beautiful and matched my dress perfectly.
The store Is immaculate and very classy and the service is much better than the experience I had at Klienfelds when I went to try dresses on there.
Biltmore provided fantastic service from beginning to end by all of the staff members. The Quality of the tuxedos was great from the fit to the overall look. Aaron tells me that even the shoes were comfortable and he wore them all day and late into the evening. They took measurements for the out of town groomsman and there were no problems. All alterations needed were done on the spot if there was any problem with fit.
Jenn really helped us to come up with a cohesive design for all of the paper elements of our wedding and we even carried the design into the cake design. During the design process she gave us several choices along the way to proof online before printing any of the stationary pieces. She is a very talented designer and worked with our budget to give us some really outstanding paper products. She is very sweet and though sometimes difficult to get in touch with, our wedding would not have been the same without her work. Even our Rabbi was raving about how unique and beautiful our invitations were and was showing it to temple parishioners. People can’t get over how beautiful all of the paper elements of the wedding were!

When we first met with Lorraine we really liked her personality and just clicked with her. We liked her style and her photojournalistic approach as well as the fact that she is very organized. She had the unobtrusive approach we wanted and a mix of photojournalistic, model, and posed photography.
At the wedding she and her husband were very helpful. They came to the hotel while the girls and I were getting ready and even gave some of the bridesmaids a ride to the reception hall because we didn’t really plan out the arrangement all that well, LOL. Due to time constraints they fit in as many posed pictures as they could but kept us on schedule.
During the ceremony and reception, Aaron and I barely knew they were there which we thought was wonderful. They stayed out of the way and were basically invisible until we saw Lorraine’s husband (her assistant) setting up a laptop on our gift table. He had set up a slideshow of the pictures they had taken before the ceremony. We had no idea they were going to do that and it was so neat to see the pictures, already edited, from that morning! What I saw was wonderful so I cannot wait to see all the pics!
We set out with a certain budget for flowers for our wedding. We didn’t want to spend a ton on flowers because they die and we wanted to allocate our money into more important areas. However, we still wanted something that would look well at our venue with its high ceilings and dramatic design. This was a tough task but Laurie was up to the challenge! She helped us to come up with ideas that would work within our meager budget but still have that ‘wow’ factor.
Our flower trial was beautiful and we were so excited to see the finished products at our wedding.
Then, 2 weeks before our wedding my then FMIL told us she hated everything about the flowers…everything. Laurie was absolutely wonderful and accommodated us for an impromptu meeting to discuss alterations to the centerpieces. We decided on something that made everyone happy and she charged us very little extra to beef up the high centerpieces.
At the wedding the tall arrangements were amazing and MUCH more dramatic and fuller than we had agreed on. The low arrangements were also larger and in higher vases and she also had two cylindars filled with water and a submerged flower with a floating candle on each side of the short cp’s. None of these extras were included in the contract.
Laurie did an amazing job as you can see in our pictures. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!

We looked at two planners because we wanted someone to help us with creating a cohesive design for the wedding and also take care of coordinating the day of the wedding. I had seen Jenny on Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway, on the Style Network and thought she seemed fun. We met with her and loved her ideas and personality. She helped us to come up with the whole Chocolate Theme of the wedding. She helped us to accomplish everythghing we wanted which was mainly to make our wedding unique and personal to us. She had some wonderful, fun ideas that really did make the wedding so special.
She also helped us out by reffering vendors she’s worked with in the past and we had great experiences with all of them. She also has a great staff on hand that helped to support her and us the day of the wedding. She is an all-around wonderfully sweet person who I consider a friend now. I wholeheartedly recommend her or any of her staff for any of their packages.

We were a little unsure about videography since we booked everything through Sal Travis and discussed our video with him and not the videographer himself. The day of the wedding however, Eric was wonderful to work with and we even found out he knew one of our groomsmen and our Rabbi loved him. We have only seen our montage and wrap up video but both were done so beautifully!
