Krista was our deejay and she was wonderful. She helped set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony with our keyboard/ukulele/guitar player and soloist like it was the easiest thing on the planet. Her demeanor was calm and easygoing which matched with us and our wedding perfectly.

She knew when to play upbeat music and when to wind things down. She took requests but stayed away from any songs we had put on our Do Not Play List. She wasn't cheesy and didn't try to talk and take attention away. She was great at coming up to us and asking when we needed dances or toasts.

I was very happy with Adagio and Krista.

We wanted an outdoor wedding in the fall and we preferred natural settings like apple orchards or gardens so we were excited to find out about this winery in St. Croix Falls Wisconsin.

First off, you drive through the pretty tree lined streets of Wisconsin and arrive at this gorgeous stone estate on a big piece of land. Horses are grazing on the grass surrounding the chateau and the vineyard spans out in front of the driveway. It's breathtaking.

A lone tree sits alone in the field and it's natural arch provides the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. We were sold on the spot.

The owners are fabulous people and so excited about hosting weddings. The outdoor patio just got a permanent tent which was great and the added rental cost was cheaper than getting one ourselves. It's complete with chandeliers and BEAUTIFUL draping. It has a fully stocked bar, collapsible sides, and outdoor fireplaces. They even had a winestomping ledge!!

Shannon is the event coordinator and she was BY far my favorite person we hired. She was incredibly sweet and so enthusiastic about everything we chose. She had great connections with some of our vendors and helped our photographer scout good photo-ops. She was included in the contract as a "Day of help" but she did SO much more. She took all of the stress away. She helped set up, clean up, talk to vendors and direct people. I wouldn't trade her in for anything.

Our wedding guests loved the venue. It was breathtaking in the fall, the estate is on gorgeous grounds and the wine was very well received. People were walking around with their mouths open, admiring. Our photos had the perfect backdrop and we needed minimal decoration because it was already a beautiful place.

I am still in love with the place. I felt like I got to travel to Tuscany and have a destination wedding when I was really in Wisconsin.

I regularly go to Faith at the Midway location. She is very talented and easy to talk to. She's honest with what she thinks will work for you which I appreciate.

The staff may look "edgy and hipster" but they are all so sincere and friendly. I've had 4 stylists come pet my hair during one of my visits. I love the place!

You can pick a stylist based on their "skill level" but I think you'd be in good hands with anyone there.

Faith wasn't available for my wedding day so she recommended Sarah for updos. Although I wasn't technically getting an updo, I went in for a hair trial. Sarah is a pro at creating beautiful, non-bridal looking updos and styles. She got what I was looking for and calmly set to work. She made me feel at complete ease and my hair looked better than I imagined.

The actual wedding day, her energy helped me stay calm and she expertly curled and pinned my long hair into what I had envisioned. I was excited to see my fiance's reaction and he was so happy, he teared up (he was glad I wore it down and wavy, his favorite).

I would (and do) go there for regular hair appointments and special occasions and I've sent other brides there as well.

I had been to a wedding in San Diego with a photobooth and it was the most fun I've had at a wedding in my life! The non-dancers enjoyed having something to do besides watch from tables and drink. And everyone got into it.

We researched a few companies before deciding upon The Traveling Photobooth. I talked to Jacob on the phone to request information and he was so polite and helpful. They mailed out info right away and the quality of their photobooths and prints were apparent.

We received an event CD and 4 hours of rental which was just enough but people would've sat in that thing all day! The attendant was great and friendly. I booked them before they had their own props so I supplied a bunch and our attendant was awesome at helping guests and keeping things organized.

We also had a guestbook for people to place their double print and the other side of the page to write wedding wishes. Our attendant helped guests fill out our wish tickets and complimented us on our details. Guests stood in line all night for the photobooth. It was one of the best investments we made.

When we got home from our honeymoon, the first thing we looked at was the guestbook with the double prints. We laughed for hours. It's something we'll get to treasure our whole life and it brought out the silly side in even the stuffiest of our guests.

We've eaten at Tangled up in Blue many times and the restaurant had helped with various dinners at our wedding venuethroughout the year so the chef, Ross Reed, was comfortable with their kitchen.

We met with him a few times to go over dinner possibilities and he was very flexible and listened to any ideas. We knew we wanted Ross to cater our wedding because we wouldn't get the same salmon, chicken, or beef choices. His menu is creative and delicious. He's well trained and can do buffet or plated meals.

Other people we knew had been to events he's catered and said it was the best food they'd had at a party. We wanted to spend money on quality food that was seasonal and prepared well so he was a logical choice.

He has a catering menu to select items from and we got have a tasting dinner at his restaurant. Everything was DELICIOUS including his homemade ice cream.

Our wedding food was fabulous, on time, well cooked, and everyone cleaned their plate. The appetizers were gone before we could get any and our dessert (homemade oatmeal cookies with rum soaked raisins, apple cider ice cream, and made from scratch butterscotch sauce) was a HUGE hit! People still ask where our food was from.

Worth every penny and I'd recommend him to anyone planning a wedding in the Twin Cities or Wisconsin.

I originally bought a Watters and Watters dress at the shop and regretted my choice over the weekend because I wanted something with lace. I had read reviews of the stingy return policy and horrid customer service but I received nothing but helpful phone calls and the sweetest woman offering to let me use the dress deposit towards tuxes. Since we were going to use them anyhow, it was such a relief to be able to transfer the money and not be stuck with the dress.

The tuxes looked good and fit well. The bridesmaids dresses we got were cheaper than any place local and online and they looked amazing on every girl. I would recommend at least looking at the Wedding Shoppe during the WEEK...not on the weekend when it's crowded and crazy.

Everyone who lives in the Twin Cities knows Cafe Latte. It's the place to go when you crave something sweet and decadent. Their dessert menu is drool-worthy and we KNEW we wanted their "Chocolate chocolate cake" at our head table. It was super easy to order and we picked it up the day of the wedding. Guests kept stealing bites of it because it was so darn good.

A cake at each table would be a hit at any wedding!

Kelly Brown was my dream photographer when I was engaged. I had looked her up when I searched for photojournalists and she had the most AMAZING photos in her portfolio and her website was designed so well that I wanted to hire her immediately.

We knew we wanted to invest in photography because we wanted our memories of that day to be captured with the same care and effort we put into the planning. Kelly Brown was voted "best of wedding picks for 2008" by the knot so when I called her to schedule a meeting, I was nervous I'd be let down or she'd be a diva.

Total opposite. She's a gorgeous lady in person and so enthusiatic but not cheesy. She genuinely loves what she does and she can find the best angles and settings in any environment. We chatted for a long time and I was sold. She was great with communication and follow up. Scouted out our location ahead of time, and helped us plan a day of hour to hour shooting schedule.

On the day of my wedding, she made me feel like a million bucks. She gushed over how beautiful my dress/hair/makeup was and made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera (something we are not normally). Guests loved her humor and posed for her willingly including my mom who is terribly self conscious of her crooked smile. She got creative shots in and every requested shot I'd sent.

I was blown away by our wedding photos. I tear up when I look at our proof book and how beautiful her shots are. She was THE best investment I made and I will treasure our photos my whole life. Kelly Brown is the best photographer in the Twin Cities and if she's open on your wedding day, I'd book her fast.

Dawn, the owner of Appleblossom is quite possibly the sweetest lady on the planet.

Not only did she meet with me several times to go over changing color schemes, but she worked with me when I wanted specific items like tea tins, moss, lemons in vases, and mini bud vases. She was so patient with me and all of my scatterbrained ideas. She is a saint for letting my detail oriented plans inspire the design.

She has the cutest house that serves as the front of her store. She can price quote and let you know availability on the spot. She's very experienced and connected to growers/suppliers and she's realistic with what will work but not unwilling to try or find similar options.

I cannot express how overjoyed I was to walk into my reception tent and see my mental image of what I'd hoped for realized. She went above and beyond and our guests would not stop complimenting us on the flowers and decorations. The venue staff said she was the hardest working florist they've ever seen. Down to the garlands around the lion statues necks and the floating flowers in the water fountain, she got EVERY single detail right.

She is the best florist in the Twin Cities and I recommend her to friends all the time.

Louise was the nicest lady! I heard about her from my friend on the knot. She said everyone went to her so I was skeptical. But she lives up to the hype.

She redid my lace neckline from a straight strapless to a slight sweetheart and the end result was stunning. She nipped in my waist, added cups, and made a mantilla for scratch. All for at least 100 less than any other local stores when I call to ask approximate prices.

My mom came with to fittings and loved talking with her. She's so personable on top of being talented. She makes you feel good about how you look in your dress and wants to be sure you're satisfied. You're not just another number.

I was sad I wouldn't be visiting her anymore when it came time to pick up my dress. I would recommend her to anyone, in a heartbeat.
