I got very lovely custom invitations from designerpi at etsy.com (a super website of independent artists). What was so great was they were double-sided; invitation on the front, directions on the back and the RSVP cards were postcards. This was great because it saves paper and saves money on postage! Theresa (the owner) worked with me to design exactly what I wanted--a colorful invitation with poppies on the edges. Designerpi's invitations are unique, communication is prompt and she made many adjustments so that it was "just right." The personal attention was worth the price.

We had a fall wedding and I wanted to give my bridesmaids a practical gift that they could use beyond the wedding day. I found and ordered black cashmere-blend scarves with the girls' initials on it (different color thread is available for the embroidery, I used red). They loved them! Delivery was very quick, and the quality was great. They were a little pricey, but if you just want to get the gifts out of the way and checked off your list, this is one-stop shopping.

The Frog at Glen Annie is a great place for rehearsal dinners! Our wedding was in the fall, and the fireplace in the bar area was pefect ambiance. After cocktails we had a prime rib buffet dinner, which was very tasty. The dining room accomodated 50 people wonderfully. The food and the atmosphere were ideal. People felt very welcome, relaxed and cozy. All the perfect elements of a great rehearsal dinner!

Of all of the weddings I've been to (over 20), Crumbs was by far the best tasting cake I've tasted. We had brownie cake, which is great for cake-lovers and brownie-lovers alike. (Our filling was raspberry for half and espresso ganache.) The week before the wedding I sent a photo of what I wanted the cake to look like, and they matched it perfectly!

Troadec Photography's style was exactly what we wanted; capturing the emotion and the feeling of the day while being classicly stylish. Troadec Photography was reasonably priced for the services we received. Carolyn was very professional, and prompt and helpful in communication (email and phone) before and after our wedding. And of course the photos---they are WONDERFUL. My husband and I are thrilled with our photos, our families love them and our friends are very impressed too (a few have said that they wish they would have used Troadec for their weddings!). The photographers took plenty of photos before, during and after the wedding, spending extra time with us at the park between church and the reception. We ended up with about 1200 photos!! The slide show she put together was lovely AND as an extra bonus, Carolyn made a calendar of our photos and gave it to us as a Christmas gift! Troadec Photography was one of the best vendors we had for our wedding.
