What are the costs of your services?

Is there a consultation charge?

There is no consultation charge.

Is a retainer required?

Yes, your retainer is required to hold your wedding date.
This will secure 2 photographers for your day.
We only shoot one wedding per day so our time is flexible.

(The retainer is non refundable if you cancel within
6 weeks of the wedding date.)

The album deposit is due when the design is approved.

When should I reserve my date?

As soon as possible after you have set the wedding date.
Please remember Spring, Summer and Fall are busy periods.

How many photographs will be taken?

Unlimited.

What kind of photographs do you take?

We take spontaneous photographs
of events as they happen in a candid / photojournalistic style.
Semi formal shots (posed shots in existing light or on-camera flash)
will also be taken of important people in your life at your request.
Please don't hesitate to make special requests.

Enjoy restful views of grand Live Oaks and open pasture from the beautiful Plantation House Porch. In the heart of the Garden, this historic and elegant location is truly unique.
The historic, recently-restored Carriage House (c.1840) overlooks the Ashley River, surrounded by ancient Live Oaks and sweeping lawns. Once used to house Drayton family carriages, today the building is both timeless and modern. Its exclusive riverside location makes it the ideal Lowcountry Plantation venue. At night the gas burning torches line the bank of the Ashley River while the fireplace on the terrace sets the ideal mood for any event.
The deck on the bank of the Ashley River also allows a perfect spot to watch the sunset. At 4000 square feet, the Carriage House is suitable for larger groups and can accommodate 150-175 for seated dinners and up to 250 guests with buffet or hors d’oeuvre arrangements. Tents on the lawn can be added to accommodate more people if needed.
The Carriage House Lawn surrounds the Carriage House on the banks of the Ashley River, providing stunning views of the historic Southern waterway. The lawn will easily accommodate 250-seated guests. A special spot, underneath the gracefully arching branches of the riverside Wedding Oak is a perfect location for a wedding ceremony.
