I didn't end up going with Brides by Demetrios BECAUSE they LIED to me for a full year! Isn't that great??? I found a dress in a magazine that I fell in LOVE with. It was absolutely AMAZING! It was extremely expensive, but to me, I thought it was well worth it. I called them numerous times about this dress and they told me numerous times that they still had it. When it came time to go try on dresses, I went to David's Bridal in Port Huron first and found a dress that I loved there but I still wanted to go all the way out to Troy (over an hour drive from where I live)to see this dress to make sure I was making the right decision. When I got there, they told me that they discontinued that dress 1 1/2 years ago. I was FURIOUS!!! At that time, I didn't even want to see what else they had to offer. They told me that they could special order it for me if that's what I KNEW I wanted. I wouldn't get to try it on or see it in person at all. What if I would have gotten it and it was completely ugly in person? I thought that was completely ridiculous and I left. Not to mention, the place is dirty. I would NEVER reccommend this place to ANYONE!

I'm not completely sure of this price since my fiance would not tell me what he spent on my rings. I got a 1 ct. princes cut ring. It has three different diamonds and is absolutely beautiful. They were really helpful during the process and even helped him out with ideas. They did a wonderful job.

I went to Meijer and purchased the gifts for the bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid, flower girls, and the ring bear. I bought everyone beach bags, beach towels, and flip-flops. I will be getting the beach bags embroidered with their name and below it saying "bridesmaid."

I got fake flowers from Michael's when they were on clearance. I have been picking small things up little at a time. For myself, I will have a real boquet that my fiance's cousin is going to make. It definately saved a lot of money, not to mention they are only going to get thrown away anyway.

Again, this is just an estimate. We are unable to go on our honeymoon right away due to the economy. We have had to make so many cuts to have a wedding. We are going to use the money that we get from the wedding to go towards the honeymoon. We are going to use the one week beach house as a mini-honeymoon type thing if that's what you want to call it. It's only 30 minutes from where we live. We are going to stay on Maui. We do have friends that live on the island and they are willing to show us different sites.

This is another estimate. This is not how much it is going to cost for all of the girls standing up...just the bride. I am getting my hair and my make-up done. All of the girls must get their hair done, but I am leaving the make-up optional. I know times are tough right now and not everyone can afford it. Not to mention, all of the girls standing up know how to apply make-up well and I don't have to worry about anyone looking like a clown. Included in that price is my hair, airbrushed make-up, and tip. I have been going to Bocci for roughly 5 years now. They are AMAZING!!!

I got my dress here for a really reasonable price. I absolutely love it! All of my bridesmaids got their dresses and shoes here. They got discounted prices on their shoes and dresses since I got my dress here too. The only thing that kind of disappointed me was that they were really helpful to get the sale, but when I went to pick the dress up, they didn't even ask if I needed help. They helped me try on 10+ dresses for my initial visit. When I went to pick it up, of course I wanted to try on the dress that is my size so I tried it on and I had to do it by myself. It's NOT easy to try on a wedding dress by yourself. Other than that, I liked David's Bridal.
