This jewelry store is one of our favorites but after we picked the ring, and they were in the process of making it, things went downhill a bit. Because my husband was getting a hammered gold ring, they were supposed to call us and have him come in to try it on before the final hammering was done. They didn’t and the ring is too big for him and now to get it resized they virtually have to redo the entire finish. We have yet to find out how much that is going to cost. That said, the ring is beautiful and very special. They have a great selection as well.

We hired these musicians who were listed on the UW School of Music’s preferred students. Helen and Miodrag were great and very affordable, seeing how we had to keep them on the ship after the wedding for the 3 hours.

They were fine, didn’t have any complaints but they didn’t put our family anywhere near each other.

This hotel was fantastic and they even sent champagne to our room while we were out of dinner. Breakfast in bed this next A.M. was fast and the food from Lola was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

All the pearl jewelry we got for bridesmaids gifts was amazing and shipped in no time. Everyone loved their gifts and I will be using them for all future jewelry gift purchases.

We went to the store in Ballard and had a new person “helping” us each time. They were pretty good and helped us find a nice tux for my fiancé, and more affordable ones for the rest of the party. While the tuxes looked good, they were apparently very uncomfortable and the alterations were rather shoddy.

It may have not be the smartest choice for me to pick an alterations person in Tacoma when I live in Seattle, but Carol was AMAZING and made the dress fit perfectly. She had to take off a good 12-15 inches because I’m a shorty, but she managed to do it from the top of the skirt so that the embroidery at the bottom was completely intact. The dress turned out perfectly and she added the most amazing French bustle. They even lent me crinoline so I didn’t have to waste money and get my own. I do have to say though, it took 5 appointments which in Seattle-Tacoma traffic can make anyone batty. Still, I’d do it again, they were wonderful and very affordable. The also made a veil out of my lace for my mom’s veil and it turned out better than I could have dreamed.

I’ve read many bad reviews of this place and I have to say I experienced nothing like them when I went. We showed up without an appointment, I did call that A.M. though and they told me to come on in. We tried on lots of dresses and on the sale rack managed to find THE dress which was perfect for only $199. The dress was La Sposa from Spain and had been ordered but the bride cancelled it. It was in perfect condition and my size. They were training new staff that day so being in a small dressing room with 2 “helpers” was kind of a pain, but that was nothing when you find the perfect dress for under $200.

As always the food at Tutta Bella is amazing, but they did have a computer glitch that wiped out our pre-ordered menu. We had to reorder when we got there and we were not the first to arrive, I wish they had got some flat bread or something on the tables before we got there. In addition, they only assigned us on waiter for 35 people and while he did a great job, there was a lot of people for him to keep track of. I also have a feeling that more pizzas could have been ordered as some people were still hungry, but that wasn’t communicated to me. Otherwise, it is a great space in the back of the Wallingford pizzeria and everyone had a fantastic time.

Everything at Costco went well and was very affordable. We got invitations (via Einvite.com) that were perfect and came in a matter of days. They had a great selection of wine and other beverages at very affordable prices.
