I contacted and set up an appointment with this vendor (H. from Anderson's Florist) as they were listed as one of the "Preferred Vendors" for my reception site. He sounded very friendly during our first phone call.

I called and left a message on H's cellphone the day before confirming the date and time of the meeting, left him my phone number, and requested that he call me if anything changes.

We showed up for the appointment; no one was there. The shop was closed. Waited 30 min. Still no one. Called H. up on his cellphone- he says he never made the appointment, did not recall our conversation, etc. and was delivering flowers for another function. (We had a 10 minute phone conversation when we set up this appt; he suggested the day and time working around my schedule since I was planning from out-of-state.)

Was willing to give him another chance. He said he would call back on Monday to set up another appointment. He never called back.

No worries though- things happen for a reason and I found my stellar florist. I was very upset though when all of this occurred as it was very unprofessional. Would give them "no stars" but the Project Wedding website won't let me.

The Imperia totally exceeded our expectations- everything ran so smoothly our wedding night. We didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Everyone was amazed and kept commenting on the huge variety of food during the cocktail hour and how delicious all of it was.

The Cristal was set up beautifully. All the servers, bartending staff, and above all our maitre d’ (Melissa) were fantastic.

Loved our wedding cake- it came out beautifully and looked just like the picture we used as inspiration.

They also threw in an ice cream sundae bar at the end- what a nice surprise!

Our maitre d’ Melissa was the best- so attentive to us, making sure we ate (I ate a little, fortunately she made sure my food was packed up for later enjoyment), and making sure we were all in the proper spots at the right time. She even knows how to fix bustles... :)

We were a bit nervous based on our initial interactions with our first contact (W.) at the Imperia i.e., late returned phone calls, etc. However, that person no longer works there. Our interaction with the Imperia was excellent thereafter.

One of the newer banquet halls on the block- but no worries. Clean, modern decor. Delicious food. Excellent service. Reasonably priced for everything you get (and more). I would definitely recommend the Imperia!

Tanaisha did a wonderful job on everyone's makeup for my wedding. She did mine and my Maid of Honor’s makeup at the salon. (She often works with Rose Renda- who did my hair.) I had airbrush; my Maid of Honor went with traditional makeup.

I loved how my makeup turned out- very natural- everyone kept commenting how beautiful we all looked! The makeup lasted all afternoon and night even lasting through the flood dams (since I cry for everything). Coming from someone who wears no makeup… I felt very at ease and totally trusted her judgment!

Very calm, professional, prompt-to-respond to e-mails, and very receptive to changes / suggestions. Tanaisha will definitely work with you and what you're comfortable with. Prices are comparable to what others were asking for.

Would definitely recommend and use her again for other special occasions!

Mario and his assistant kept everyone up and on the dance floor during our wedding. We were so happy to see everyone having such a good time. Absolutely loved the slideshow he made for us growing up!

Very easy and convenient to order our invitations online. (Though some parts of the website were a little unclear and confusing.) Reasonably priced- beautiful Birchcraft invitations at a discount!

One minor complaint was that the owner Don R. was a bit slow to get back to me when I approved the online proof and I did not get the invites shipped initially. I e-mailed him again when I hadn't received the invites after 5 weeks. However, apparently he was sick during that time period. When he did get back to me, the invites arrived a few days later.

No complaints when the invitations did arrive... We loved them- absolutely beautiful! Fortunately I ordered them way in advance though so they arrived on time.

Very professional, punctual limo services on our wedding day. Our driver went above and beyond making sure my mom, bridesmaids, and I stayed dry in the rainy mist, was extremely attentive, and the best at fixing / adjusting my wedding train- even right before walking down the aisle!

Nancy from Forever Flowers did a wonderful job on all of the flowers for my wedding. Definitely one of my favorite vendors- always extremely prompt in answering questions, so talented, always professional, and prompt to include all my last minute changes!

Truthfully flowers weren't majorly important to us during the wedding planning. I knew nothing about flowers. I totally never thought I would love flowers this much- until I met Nancy and saw her beautiful work...!

From the very first meeting, I felt very at ease and totally trusted her judgment! She just instinctively “got” what I liked just by looking at the myriad of photos I brought in. One could easily tell how excited and passionate she is about flowers!

Loved how the bouquets came out- they absolutely “popped” against our dresses. The corsages were absolutely stunning and loved the bouts. Everyone loved the centerpieces- they were even better than I could ever imagine! There were some really happy people that night carrying their centerpieces home like they just won a prize!

Nancy also decorated our wedding cake- absolutely beautiful.

Hopefully more brides will use Forever Flowers. So warm, professional, beautiful flowers, and *very* reasonably priced. And a local business, too! :)

Rose is super-talented and speedy! Prices are comparable to what others were asking for. Doesn't respond to e-mails much- it's best to call the Salon. The girl manning the phones seemed a bit flaky- i.e., not having the correct # of people getting hair done- however, everything worked out in the end.

The best and widest selection of bridesmaid dresses that I came across. (Though I only went to 2 shops.) Very friendly, professional, prompt service. They let you freely browse through the aisles. No hounding; no pressure to buy. I've heard no complaints from my girls about the service or alterations. Their dresses came as scheduled. Reasonably priced- comparable to other places.

I would have checked them out for bridal gowns if I knew about them sooner! :)

David, Amy, and Joe did an amazing job capturing and documenting the best day of our lives! Everyone keeps on saying how beautiful our photos turned out… We absolutely love our photos!

My husband and I generally don’t like getting our photos taken. They made us feel sooo comfortable. Can’t believe Dave was rolling around in the grass trying to get the perfect shot. (We felt kind of guilty.)

Everyone was happy- even squeezing in the table shots and family shots of our huge families.

Definitely another one of our favorite vendors... Extremely warm, professional, very prompt-to-answer e-mails, and beautiful pix... They are the best! :)

We haven't received our wedding albums yet (mostly because my husband and I have been slackers and haven't been able to whittle down which pix to include- there are so many good ones!) We have no doubt that they'll turn out beautifully.
