I found Bob on this website - My friends daughter is having a sweet sixteen b-day party and we wanted special lighting. My friend had set aside a small budget(neither her nor I realize the cost of special lighting until we both started calling around) I first spoke to Bob about 3 weeks ago, at that time he told me he would not be able to do the lighting for our budget. He actually said that he would try to find me someone that could do the lighting (we may have to spend a little more) After my friend realized that she would have to spend a more $$ if she really wanted lighting, she decided to go for it and spend the extra cash, I've since called Bob again and again and again, he hasn't returned any of my calls. I left him 3 messages letting him know that the budget has been increased, could he give me a price quote. On the last phone call he actually answered the phone, I told him I've called him and left a couple messages but I haven't gotten a call back. He said that he was busy at the moment he would call me back in 15 mins or less - He has never called back.

My guess is he thinks that we are trying to get him to find someone, when we are actually trying to let him know that we may hire him, if his price is right. Either way in my opinion it's just bad business, he could at least acknowledge my phone calls...
Need less to say we have since found someone else and Bob Marino gets a big fat F!!!!!! I would never recommend him to anyone....

12/19/07 - So guess who finally called me today - Yes! Bob Marino - Got a price quote from him, I must admit the price was right but then he says he is not available on the date of the party anyway.. Still think his service is poor - He could have told me that a long time ago if he had returned the first of my three phone calls!!!

I worked with Avis of Morningdawn Creations during my wedding I hired her as my Day of Coordinator. She was there for me from the beginning until the end. And even after. Avis was simply marvelous. I planned the wedding with Avis keeping in contact with me every step of the way. The day of my wedding it was like I did all the decorating myself because it was exactly the way I wanted it!!! I can't say more than enough about Avis and her assistant, they were great!!!! I can truly say not one thing went wrong (that I know of) on my wedding day!!!!

I heard about Ramiro's on The Wedding channel's local forum. I got a few items Embroidered from them for my bridal party such as totes, sarongs and little denim bags for my flower girls. They did an awesome job!!!! Prices was VERY affordable. He delivered ahead of time. This is a home based business and I would not have done it any other way. Now that my wedding is long gone. I still use Ramiro's for other items and I have even referred them to my daughter's track team!!!! I highly recomend Ramiro's

I ordered personalized cocktail napkins and coasters. The colors were perfect!! Price was great. I would definitely do business with for your party again.

I ordered my invitations from my Gatsby. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service and the finished product. I ordered a sample of their cardstock for color matching purposes. Which I recommend. What's great is that I still have the colors for future projects I plan on doing using envelopments (because they are the same card stock). I also ordered my direction cards and thank you cards from my gatsby. The overall price was a bit pricey but I wouldn't have done it any other way. There was some assembly required for the invitations but I got a couple of my girls to help me, we knocked the assembly out pretty quick.
I have a pretty good experience with My Gatsby I highly recommend them.

I purchased my dress from Karoza's. They were one of the only bridal shops in my surrounding area that had a dress similar to the dress I wanted. On the phone Rosa was very sweet and helpful. She explained to me that my dress was a slightly older style, but not discontinued and could still be special ordered. I could come in and try on a dress that was similar and so I did. When I went in to try on the dress, Rosa's daughter helped me she was very sweet, I had two of my bridesmaids with me, they tried on dresses, we had a great time. When I went back to put my deposit, alterations and fittings, no one was friendly at all. I even tried to crack jokes but no one seem to have a sense of humor. Overall I can say everything went smoothly, the price was not bad, my dress came in on time, so I would give them an A+. Other than my first visit when the daughter helped me everyone else gets a big fat F for friendlyness!!!!

I purchased a BM's dress for my daughter from the Redondo Beach David's Bridal and had alterations done at the Northridge store. Overall I would say we were in and out when they took her measurements. When we went back for her fitting we were in and out. (everything was done by appointment) I was totally satified!

Before I ordered my veil, I had a question about the color of the bugle beads I wanted to use to match the bugle beads on my dress which wasn't on the website. Kathy was great she sent me different samples which helped a lot. Overall I was happy with the price and service!

All 6 of my BM's dresses were purchased from this David's bridal. The sales person we originally had the appointment with was running late helping a previous customer. So we got another sales person who was new, sweet as ever but had no clue what she was doing. Luckily one of my bridesmaids has experience as wedding dress consultant and helped the sales person who was very greatful. While checking out the manager had to come help (as said the sales person did not really know what she was doing) one of my BM's was giving me a hard time not wanting to purchase her dress at that time, the manager actually gave her $20 off for purchasing her dress. I could go on with my story but in the end I got $20 off of all my girls dresses and I didn't even purchase my gown from them.
