My friend got his birthday cake here and it looks really cool! He's a big video game fanatic, so it was shaped like a cube from one of his favorite video games. The cake was a huge hit at the get-together and a great conversation piece. It tasted amazing too, and I really liked the frosting.

The ladies at Harmony Salon do great quality work and the surprise is that it's very affordable too! I got my eyebrows, upper lip, and a french tip pedicure all for just $44 (which is a lot cheaper than the places I went to in San Francisco). The ladies were really nice and I did not have to wait in line at all.

The decor is clean and the space is large with lots of natural light. It is situated in Old Town Pasadena very close to a bunch of yummy restaurants and cute shops! This is a great place for a bridal shower or spa day!

Hands down the best pedicure and manicure in the entire Bay Area! I usually get a french pedicure here. BTW, they have free food on Saturdays! this place is super busy, so make sure to call for an appointment more than week in advance if you want to come in on the weekend!

Great and friendly service. The guide we had was a really nice laid back guy, very friendly, and told jokes all the way down the river. We rafted a class III-IV since we had a lot of beginners in our group.

We were supposed to raft a Class IV+ river tomorrow but unfortunately the two rivers that were close enough to do the early morning drive were not raft-able. Greg and Roxanne both apologized even though it wasn't their fault the weather was bad, and are refunding us our money.

Went here for dine about town and was thoroughly impressed! The decor was gorgeous and our server was really nice with a great sense of humour. The food is excellent and the place is really great for big groups. We had over 10 people in our group and the service never missed a step. This is what we ate:

Appetizer:
- Duck egg roll (good)
- Butter fish (great!)

Entree:
- Salmon (ok)
- Short rib (great!)

Dessert:
- Chocolate lava cake (get this!!!!!! It's amazing!!)
- Creme caramel (avoid this at all costs!)

Elysia Desserts catered the dessert table for my wedding. They did an amazing job and everyone raved about it as one of their favorite parts of our wedding. We had two different types of cupcake tastings (lavender and lemon), marscapone cheesecake, champagne-infused strawberries, three different types of truffles made from the finest chocolates.

I went to an event there last night and really loved the modern asian decor. The staff was really friendly and courteous. They have an outdoor courtyard which is beautifully lit in the evening and you can make it look really romantic by putting candles everywhere.

I adored working with Mandy Scott. She was very responsive to all my emails, and got all the details right. I didn't want to spend very much money and told her my budget (which is lower than a lot of florist minimums), and she was very helpful in making suggestions on how to make the most of my budget.

Her quality of work is excellent and for the most part she gave me exactly what I asked for. I loved my bouquet (white calla lilies mixed with lily of the valley), and I especially loved the table centerpieces! Many of our guests commented how nice the flowers were.

Laura was very easy to work with. I sent her a very detailed email, filled out a few forms, and the order was mailed to me in 2 weeks. It looks beautiful!

I wandered into the store last night while perusing Valley Fair and what a pleasant surprise! I was immediately greeted by a very friendly lady, nicknamed "B," who let me try on a ton of jewelry (even when I told her before that I couldn't afford it). They have pearls for every price range.. freshwater cultured pearls set in sterling silver (starting at $65). If you're looking for more luxurious items, they have a large selection of freshwater and tahitian pearls set in 14K and 18K gold, sometimes with diamonds. They carry so many things.. pearl earrings of all sorts, pendants, necklaces, brooches and pins, etc.
