I dropped off my dress to get dry-cleaned and preserved. One week later, the dress was cleaned, preserved, and boxed in a very nice box! Perfect!

Kenneth Cole shoes are the most comfortable shoes on the planet! The price of the shoes can vary from $30 (if you get it on sale on amazon.com) to over $200. I have probably bought a dozen Kenneth Cole shoes in my lifetime... from dressy bridesmaids shoes (which are gorgeous by the way), to sensible and fashionable black flats, to edgy knee-high black leather boots (that I still get complimented on to this day).

Overall, I highly recommend Kenneth Cole for all your shoe needs!

I have worked with Evonne on a professional level through Project Wedding, and she has been absolutely perfect the entire time. She is incredibly nice, organized, and more importantly... she has a great vision that is so important for wedding planners and designers. I would absolutely consider Events by Evonne if I were planning my own wedding again!

I love Thi cosmetics. It's very difficult to find makeup that works for asian complexions and looks natural (and not pink!). Everything goes on really sheer and natural and feels completely weightless. Even more importantly, my face almost always breaks out when I use other cosmetics, but that's not the case with Thi Cosmetics! I have yet to get a single pimple from wearing this makeup.

I currently use the foundation which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. The blush looks very natural and adds some nice contouring and dimension to my face... kind of like faking the appearance of cheekbones. The eyeshadow blends very naturally as well. And of course, the eyelashes are THE BEST eyelashes in the industry because they are individual and a natural length, so you can make it as simple or lush as you want.

We got baby blue bridesmaids dresses from Victoria's Secret catalog and they were amazingly comfortable. The color really popped in pictures, and best of all I will definitely wear the dress over and over again!

I used textbooksrus and had a good experience. The shipping was free.. I just went to Fedex, put the books in a box, and shipped it using a label I got from textbooksrus. Two weeks later, I received a check for $190. Nice!

Since my parents are actually from Hong Kong and Taiwan, I've had a vast experience of eating Chinese food in California. So here's the rundown of Yujean Kang....

GOOD
+ Appetizer with the miniature dumplings. They tasted nice, almost as good as din tai fung! 4 stars
+ The shrimp and polenta dish was super unique and something I have never had before at a Chinese restaurant. Extremely yummy. 5 stars

NOT SO GOOD
- We tried to order two things on the menu but they had run out of both. That has never happened to me at a Chinese restaurant before. 2 stars
- Tea smoked duck was dry. It was the quality of something I could get for $6-8, but it cost $18. Ouch!
- The prices were REALLY high for a chinese restaurant. When compared to Yank Sing (one of my favorite but expensive chinese restaurants in the SF Bay Area), Yujean Kang did not have the same quality of ambiance, decor, or service that would warrant their price.

So overall, I give them 3 stars. Some of the dishes tasted really good, but some were not available or disappointed. The price was not worth it so I will probably not come back again.

I have worked with Jen and Vanessa on a professional level, and they are by far one of the most impressive group of ladies I have worked with. Their wedding and event concepts are unparalleled in creativity and each event they plan is so unique. Not only are they extremely talented in terms of event design, they are also so on top of everything. Emails are returned at lightning speed. They follow up by phone call. Everything just gets done, and gets done quickly with the highest level of quality! If I were planning a wedding in the San Diego or LA area, I would absolutely consider hiring them to coordinate my wedding.

Saw a few concerts here, including Kelly Clarkson and the fourth of july concern in 2007. I really like how you can lay a large blanket on the grass and eat a picnic dinner with your friends/family while you enjoy the music. This is one of my favorite places for concerts.

I rented boats from here twice - once for a bday party and once for a stanford shinteki thing. It's fun if you have a goal in mind (ie. beating other teams to a pulp), but not all that interesting if you're goal-less. I can definitely see renting boats as part of a fun scavenger hunt type bachelor or bachelorett party, or for a casual picnic.
