Eh Hunan Garden is ok. On the greasy side as far as chinese restaurants are concerned. The decor is a typical hole in the wall chinese restaurant.

I had my hair and makeup done by Vivian herself! First of all she is probably the sweetest person I have ever met, and has the most sunny and cheerful disposition... exactly the kind of person you want to be around you on the happiest day of your life.. your wedding day!

In terms of makeup, I was extremely pleased with the results. My main problem is that I have extremely acne-prone skin and the day she did my makeup I had broken out in multiple areas of my face. After Vivian was done, we could not see a single blemish and my face looked perfectly clear! In addition, she made my eyes look much larger and prominent than before. I have small asian eyes, so when I saw how she opened up the eyes on my face, I was ecstatic.

Can I say how amazing Shelly's work is? I tried to book her for my wedding way back in 2006, but she was already booked 1.5 years in advance! I've worked with her on a professional level while working on editorial for Project Wedding, and she is by far one of the most pleasant and easiest photographers to work with. And her images speak for themselves... gorgeous!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant one afternoon and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable and worthy of some of the best fine dining restaurants I have been to. The decor was beautiful and elegant. The food was amazing. We had the Kobe beef burger with sweet potato fries, whole fried catfish, and braised short ribs. All were absolutely delicious. Plus, the bread was possibly the best bread I've had in my life.

If I were having my wedding in the area, I would absolutely have my rehearsal dinner (or even reception) here at the Parkway Grill.

* Very fast turnaround. I ordered my bridal shower invitations and thank you cards, and received them one week later.

I subtracted one star because the quality of my first prints were definitely not good. 80% of the bridal shower invitations and thank you cards were poorly printed. Out of the 25 sets I purchased, only 6 are decent-looking enough to use. The ink at the top is completely blurred into two different colors. I called customer service and they reprinted the cards for free, and shipped them overnight.

I love the look of their letterpress, and the place has a large selection and is super clean. I bought quite a few cards from here and was very happy with the look, plus the quality is much higher than other paper places I've seen.

I tried the shoyu and the miso ramen. Both were terrible. It was probably one of the worst Japanese meals I have had in my life. The ambiance pretty much matches the price... cheap.

The waitstaff was very nice though.

I stayed here as a guest and the decor, service, and food is outstanding! I would definitely consider this venue if I were getting married in Pasadena!

I have been a huge fan of Hello Lucky for years! Their designs are absolutely gorgeous... I especially love the cherry blossom design featured in Martha Stewart awhile ago. Hello Lucky is hands down one of the best resources for wedding invitations. If I got married again I would definitely look to Hello Lucky for my invitations!
