I have had the pleasure of working extensively with Karen on a professional level. She is extremely talented and recognized as one of the best photographer in the world. Her images speak for themselves!

What you might not know about Karen is that she is an absolutely sweetheart and always humble. Talking to her is like conversing with an old dear friend. Karen will instantly put you at ease and is a perfect and very wise choice to capture your big day!

I have been a huge fan of the Cake Girls almost the moment I got engaged. Their couture wedding cakes are so inspirational for any style, whether it be traditional, whimsical, or modern chic. he Cake girls are sisters Mary and Brenda Maher and based out of Chicago. Their cakes have been published in pretty much every magazine and television show there is! If you are lucky enough to be planning a wedding in the Chicago area, count yourself lucky to have the opportunity to have one of Mary and Brenda’s creations at your wedding. Your guests will ooh and ahh…

I went to a wedding here a few weeks ago and it was gorgeous. The ceremony site is beautiful, so intimate and serene. The pictures on the website really do not do it justice... you have to see the grassy ceremony site and rolling Saratoga hills in person! The reception hall is also gorgeous - floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding trees and rolling hills make you feel like you're outside with the comfort and serenity of an indoor reception! The food, wine, and service were also spectacular!

I just went to a wedding that was photographed by Jay Tsai. From a guest's point of view, Jay did an amazing job. The entire team of photographers looked professional, inconspicuous, and always very polite to the guests. At the end of the evening, Jay created a slideshow of all the events that happened during that day. I must say that I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the photos, and it was such a kick to see gorgeous images of my friends while they were getting ready!

Hilda did my hair and makeup for my second reception in Texas, for my husband's family friends.

5 stars - Hilda is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She makes every bride feel special and really enhances the good spirits of your big day. It was pouring rain, and she walked me to the car with an umbrella over my head. She insisted that I keep the umbrella to keep me dry for the 10 foot walk from the car to the reception entrance. I thought that was very sweet of her.

5 stars - Hilda and the designers in her studio do a GREAT job with trials. There was one girl in the studio with me who was very "demanding" and made them redo her hair like three times. You get to try multiple hairstyles and makeup styles for a very reasonable price. In comparison, my hair trial with an artist in San Francisco was 3x the price and she only did one hairstyle and one makeup. So Hilda definitely wins hands down in the makeup and hair trial category!

3 stars - She was about half an hour late to our appointment. =( It turned out ok, but I was stressed for those 30 minutes I spent waiting.

4 stars - There were a few things that struck me as odd, ie. using qtips to apply eyeshadow rather than brushes? The overall result of my makeup and hair was fine, though not as good as the makeup and hair artist I booked for my San Francisco wedding. However, Hilda is about 3x less expensive than the artist I used, so her services are a great value and I would book her again if I had a special event in Houston, Texas.

They handle large parties very well. I've come here with groups of around 20 people, and the food and service is always great.

Ok, so this place might not be the most "gourmet" or "authentic," but gosh darn it tastes pretty good to me. I love the breadsticks and the soup/salad combo. The seafood linguini is the best entree in my opinion.

The best place for late night delivery in the Cambridge/Boston area. My husband and I practically lived off their yang chow fried rice and yin yang fried rice during freshman year in college. The food comes quickly and it tastes pretty darn good when you pset-ing late into the night.

I ordered food from here a few times. The food is not good and I avoided it afterwards.

Pretty decent chinese food, though not the best in the Bay Area.

Most of the pizzas are just ok in my opinion, but the standout is the chicken bbq pizza.
