I love the MAC counter. The girls are always so friendly there. even if I am just out shopping and want to have some make up put on. I'm seriously considering using MAC for my wedding day makeup

I'm getting my cake from the Cakery. My MOH had her cake from there and it tasted amazing! I'll post another review after my wedding.

I read on another board that she left for Europe. If she screwed that many brides I doubt she will be back. But good luck anyway.

I hate when this happens. We were all set to use Kathy's Kreative Kakes in San Mateo but now it seems that Copenhagen may be the best place for us. Also up the street is the Cakery. If you haven't checked these two places out, you may want to. The cakes taste AWESOME!

Okay, so we finally hired Axiom Video after hiring Axiom for their photography. When we were looking for a photographer, video was so far down our list we didn't want to make two major decisions at once. And while we felt no pressure to book video as well as photo, we were made well aware that Axiom also did video.

So finally we got around to shopping for a video. To be honest, we were kind of leaning towards using two different vendors for photo and video. As it turns out, Axiom is the best choice for both. They just were voted best of weddings 2007 in theknot.com magazine. They have great videos and great prices to boot.

Even if you don't use them for photo, you can book them separately for video as I am told many brides do.

I will post another review once I get my video after the wedding.

We're seriously considering STacey Miller as she is only next door to our Photographer. However we are still searching around so any info will be very helpful.

The work she showed us was fabulous. She has a great personality and seems very easy to deal with. I'm stil checking her references and will post another review once we make our decision.

We'll most likely be getting our cake from Kathy's right here in San Mateo. Many of our vendors are in San Mateo as it is close proximity to where we both work. The one thing I have learned from all this is to never jump to a quick decision. Even if you think you absolutely love a vendor, always do your research and check others just to make sure.

Kathy has great looking and tasting cakes. Her record is impeccable and she has been there for about 30 years!

I generally like to stay away from the MALL STORES> but this one seems to be pretty good. The times we have gone there, the service was always friendly and attentive. We are still shopping for wedding bands and hope to finalize that soon.

Robert is an absolutely amazing photographer and an overall creative person. I couldn't believe all of the stuff he is into. Anyway, we hired him after seeing about 6 other photographers. Many others we saw had similar style and quality but were way more expensive. Part of the reason why Robert is cheaper is because he also does video (although we haven't decided whether we want video or not) and he has other photographers that work for him. He says this keeps the price low but the brides that book first get him.

We'll be doing our engagement pics early next year and I will post some of them in my bio as soon as I get them.
