Red Rocks was another wonderful vendor. They were so cooperative and took time to answer all of the questions. Our RD was held in a private room which included a flat-screen TV. They encouraged us to create a DVD slideshow which played on the TV. We were able to choose from several pre-set menus. At the dinner, we were able to order from four entrees, three salad options as well as four desserts. We were assigned two servers for our group of 30+ guests and they took wonderful care of everyone. If I had to describe the ambiance, it would be casual elegance surrounded by delicious food! Many of our guests were from out of town and have gone back to Red Rocks on return trips to Charlotte.

She was fantastic to deal with and was so helpful. When we contacted Ruby, we were actually thinking of a honeymoon in Aruba. Because of the time of our HM, we were concerned with potential hurricane threats. Ruby advised us that Cancun might be an option with less risk. She presented us with a couple of alternatives and shared her personal observations. She also recommended that we check out tripadvisor.com for additional reviews. The package she presented was far better than anything we could find on our own (and we checked). She also set up a honeymoon registry for us in case any of of guests wanted to give a gift. Ruby also sent us a lovely letter when we returned as well as calling us to get our feedback. Very happy!

Very pleased. The all-inclusive hotel offered special offers for honeymooners, including a special dinner and gifts. We loved the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help. The rooms were clean, well-stocked and large. The activities at the resort were so-so; the evening entertainment was amateurish. The resort is located on the main drag so its easy to leave for alternative entertainment. There are two pools, both of which face the beach. The food was good although the breakfast and lunch buffets were rather ordinary. You had your choice of five restaurants for dinner and all were excellent, especially the Thai fusion and steakhouses.

So accommodating! Not only did they throw in the meeting room complimentary (we used it as a reception area for our out of town guests), they handed out gift bags for all our guests. They also gave my husband and I a jacuzzi room complimentary when we had ten booked rooms. We did not have to reserve any rooms or incur any extra charges. Our guests received a discounted rates. The rooms are spacious and relatively new. Plus they offer a complimentary happy hour in the afternoons and an impressive breakfast buffet.

Who doesn't love M&Ms? We chose personalized candies to hand out. They were delivered quickly, the quality was great and the packaging ensured that the candies didn't melt in the August heat of NC. The ordering process was simple and the website easy to navigate. Plus M&Ms offer plenty of coupons to save even more money.

Neither my husband nor I have much dancing ability but we wanted to make sure that we had a memorable first dance. Rene' was so patient with us and choreographed a dance that was easy and beautiful. She kept us entertained and challenged. At no point was it uncomfortable or unrealistic. As a part-time dance instructor, Rene' wanted to ensure that our dance reflected Jon and I

Lin works with my husband and DJs on the side. There was a part of me that was nervous about hiring a virtual unknown; however, I am so happy that we did. We gave Lin very general instructions about what we wanted from him - keep the crowd happy, include certain songs and avoid other ones. He did a great job on all counts. Lin did a fantastic job of 'reading' the crowd and making sure that he played songs that would keep the crowd moving. He brought his own equipment, did a good job anouncing and was very low maintenance.

I cannot say enough positive things about the cake. Fan-freaking-tastic! The taste, decoration, delivery and service were great. We went with traditional flavors, square layers with a chocolate buttercream frosting. The bakers were true consultants, offering their expertise on how to create the style my fiance and I wanted. They promptly issued the deposit refund and were one of the easiest vendors to work with. In fact, I booked the date first and set up the details (design, size, etc.) a couple of months later.

Wonderful and easy to work with. The consultant was knowledgable about the products and walked me through everything. She offered to send samples so that I could be comfortable with the colors selected. She also encouraged me to remeasure the chairs to ensure that the covers would drape correctly. The return process was part of the fee and involved a phone call to arrange pickup. The only negative was that the return was not immediately registered into their system, which caused some concern upon return from the honeymoon. I would also have liked to see a color selection on the website so that I could select the colors without having to describe it to the consultant.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clair. My husband is not a fan of having his photo done so we wanted to ensure that our photographer was someone who we could relate to easily. Clair's personality completely set Jon at ease and she was able to cajole him into smiling at times. She does a great job of capturing the emotions of the wedding day. It sounds like a cliché, but when I reviewed the pictures of the day, I literally laughed and cried. She blended into the background during the event so she didn't disrupt the flow of the wedding. At the same time, Clair knows what she is doing and was able to get all of the required family posed pictures done quickly so that our guests could return to the party. Clair's pricing is also competitive and the package includes a e-picture or bridal portrait session. Plus, you get the reproduction rights for the photos so you aren't forced to order prints from your photographer.
