There were 3 main things I looked for during my search for a hair and make up artist:

1) approachability
2) attention to detail
3) trust

There is a sense of gentleness and sweetness that makes Angie so easily approachable. During our first meeting she made it extremely comfortable for me to be open and share my ideas, concerns, and of course other bridal ramblings. Our conversation was genuinely filled with laughter and smiles and I instantly developed a trust in her and knew she was the right one for me.

Angie dedicates a lot of time to help you acheive the look you're absolutely happy with. The updo I chose for the wedding is usually best seen on blondes but she skillfully worked my hair (for hours!) to achieve the same textured effect and I loved it! And even during my trial session we spent a good 10 minutes just to perfect the "wing" of the eyeliner.

On the morning of the wedding, amongst all the frenzy in the bridal room, Angie were off to the side slightly in our own world for a good solid 4 hours. We talked, laughed, shared stories and all of this helped me relax and forget about my worries. And as a testament to how much I trusted her, I never once looked at the mirror. In fact, it wasn't until the last few minutes where she had me check the "wing" of the eyeliner (haha).

The moment I took my first look was the moment it all be came real to me and I'm not going to lie.. I got a bit emotional. The hair and makeup was just amazing and more importantly... I still looked and felt like myself!

It's a bit magical what Angie is able to do. I'm extremely satisfied with all the looks for me and all 3 mothers and would love to find another excuse/event to hire her again!
